Es una casa colonial antigua como muchas
Lo que no me gustó es que mi habitación 27 no tenía ventilación y olía a moho, igual que la cortina que tapaba una ventana que no se abría.
Están dejando morir una enredadera muy bonita en el patio central por falta de control de un insecto que la está matando
No fue lo que esperábamos de acuerdo a lo ofrecido en el sitio web y había humedad en la habitación, quedaba justo en la entrada del hotel y se escuchaba el ruido de la calle y de las personas que llegaban pasada la media noche.
The staff and service was amazing. Everyone was so accommodating and friendly. Food was good. The place was beautiful especially the roof. We did noticed that you can easily hear noises from the outside of our room. Overall, it was a great stay. Definitely recommend this place!
The food in the restaurant was excellent. The service was excellent and the room was very comfortable. It would have been nice to have some English cable TV but it was not a show stopper. I loved this hotel and would stay there again.

Beautiful colonial building, big room, delicious a la carte breakfast. Shame about cracks on the floor in my room, that could be safety hazard, and there was nowhere to hang towels

We enjoyed our stay at El Carmen Suites. We were welcome with a refreshing drink-which is a nice touch. The room is spacious, clean and the staff is friendly, welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and you have so many options. The view from the terrace is spectacular! We witness the volcano Fuego erupting. The lush greenery is beautiful. The room gets stuffy so a fan definitely helps. Some guests kept their doors open since it gets so hot in the room. If you ask, the staff will gladly get you a fan. The only issue is a foul smell that comes from the septic system at certain times of the day but since we mostly spent the day out it was not an issue but we did notice it when we return to the room. Overall, great price, location and service. I would definitely recommend.
The climate was warm, the room has very little ventilation and one of the rooms had NO fan on it. Not a comfortable night to sleep in.
