It was a room with only an interior window opening up on another interior area (not an open-air courtyard). We objected as we expected a proper room with a window opening to fresh air. They said there was no other room available and refused to give us a refund. We went to another hotel.

Perfect location. Leaking roof and too small

Perfect location. Beautiful rooftop

Cons:

The room I had looked like they started building it and didn’t finish it. Very small and woke up to a pool of water because the roof was leaking. It continued to leak. I was checking it out that morning so I told them to leave it so I can shower and get on with my day. The room had no ventilation. After shower , I couldn’t use any of the mirrors because it fogged up. It would have been impossible for 2 people to stay in this show box. For the price I paid , that was unacceptable experience. Also the towels were old and yellowing.

I loved the terrace, the attention with checkin, checkout, parking, spacious room with all needed. The breakfast included was very complete and a lot of options to choose from.

Perfect place
Pros:

The staff was incredibly attentive. We particularly enjoyed the rooftop restaurant, the breakfast with the view on the three volcanos was exceptional. We stayed three nights and it was the perfect duration to get the best of Antigua and surroundings. We booked a shuttle with them to Atitlan which went smoothly. I highly recommend this hotel!

Cons:

Our room was a bit small, and there was a very small window, but that’s because of the architecture. We didn’t really mind
