The price was great, but the problems outweighed the cheap price! No English TV channels, the air conditioning was either all on or off! There’s a loudspeaker right outside the room’s window which blasts chants and prayers starting at 3:30-4:00 am!
My newly met Indonesian friends came to pick me up and just seeing the lobby and the people coming in and out decided to have me stay w/ them instead of at this hotel; so I only stayed 2 of the 7 nights paid for......

Service needs to be improved. Cleaning room does not seem to be automatic. I do not recommend the breakfast. Better book a room without breakfast. A very small portion and about the same everyday.

Hampir semua keperluan asas ada pada hotel ini. Dgn RM 60.00 termasuk cukai semalam ianya murah. Dlm hotel ini juga ada mesin ATM.

Yg tidak disediakan air panas utk minum, shampoo, arah kiblat. Namun ada beberapa surau keliling hotel ini. Ada pasar pagi 200m dari hotel ini. Ada bunyi? ventilator siang malam dan ini boleh menganggu tidur. Wifi maks 10Mb/s tapi ada masanya langsung tak boleh guna. Berlaku blackout sekali ketika hujan lebat dan tiada generator otomatik. 20 minit kemudian baru ada letrik.

This is not a bad hotel overall. Air conditioning was not working properly as I did no find cool air come out from AC. Hotel staff was good enough but they should have learn an English language. I would like to give 2 out of 5.

Good for the price. In a quiet sidestreet 200m from hayam wuruk road

This hotel has 8 speakers that bellow out at prayer time, every prayer session starting at 4 am. I used the mat to wipe my feet on the way into the shower and they were dirtier that before I wiped. Reception staff very non responsive and it seemed it was a problem to serve a customer and this was evident from the time I arrived. The worst hotel I have ever stayed in.

what was stated durung the booking, was nit given during my 3 nights stay, no WiFi, small TV, toilet dirty,bedsheets and towels awful room service really bad...

bathroom are very smell,dirty and everywhere smell cigarette include non smoking room

We stayed just one night at Hollywood Hotel. Thought we've stayed in worse hotels, thus wasn't great. The reception is very pretty but that's where the good looks end. The room was shabby and not very clean. There wasn't much very near by, but we didn't venture out really so that may not be true. The worst thing though was an taxi ordeal getting to the hotel, which we booked purposely to be bear Gambie Station. The taxi driver took us to Planet Hollywood like 15km in the wrong direction and we had to argue about payment and taking us where we wanted to go. Because of this we arranged a taxi with the hotel for when we left. When it wasn't there in the morning "security" went on his bike and brought a car back. First he tried to take us the airport, we told him the station, then he was lost and he drove us in circles. It's all a scam just sad to see the hotel involvement. Wouldn't really recommend.
