They would not serve dinner on one day as they were booked. The sauna and jacuzzi was not working and we had reserved this hotel for the same. They should have compensated for it not working.

Die Lage am See ist super. Vom Hotel direkt im See schwimmen, das ist herrlich. Auch die tolle Aussicht vom Restaurant ist unübertroffen. Sehr freundliches Personal

Cons:

Das Hotel ist schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen und das Mobiliar bräuchte dringend etwas Renovierung. Die Betten sind sehr hart „gepolstert“. Leider.

The Bells
Pros:

A nice, quiet alternative to staying in Luzern, Weegis is a 40 minute boat ride across the lake. The hotel sits five minutes walking from the dock. An older property, it still maintains some of its charm. The public areas are a little run down, but the rooms are scrupulously clean and comfortable. The staff is charming and helpful - a particular nod to the manager, and some of the most conscientious housekeeping I’ve ever seen. The room was immaculate. Decent breakfast, with limited choices, but all good.

Cons:

Hoteling in the age of climate change... The property doesn’t have air-conditioning in 27-28c heat. Yes, you can open the windows, however, there is a large church across the street that insists on peeling its impressive bells every fifteen minutes, 24/7. An added, ear-splitting, Angelus occurs around 0700, as if to ensure you’re not dozing off after a sleepless night. The manager said they’ve been trying to deal with this issue for years, but religious freedoms ensure that the heavenly symphony continues unabated. Indeed, they were told that the church could play, non-stop, were it so inclined. The staff was nice enough to provide us with a fan. An otherwise pleasant experience was marred by an inability to cool the room without opening the windows, and a wall of sound at fifteen minute intervals.

Sejour très agréable, riche en randonnées dans une région magnifique

La gentillesse et la bonne humeur du personnel , la qualité du restaurant , le buffet du petit-déjeuner , la superbe terrasse , la literie un peu dure mais bien , l’emplacement , la tranquillité et la vue incroyable. Nous avions une chambre au 4 eme étage.
Débarcadère , bus , téléphérique à proximité .

Cons:

Chambre au style un peu vieillot, nous a surprise au début de notre séjour. Finalement , Elle a quand même un certain charme, si on aime les meubles en bois peints.
La salle de bain aurait besoin d’un rafraîchissement.
La porte de la chambre 442 très basse, mon mari devait se baisser pour entrer. ( ça nous a fait rire ) Manque une petite barrière de sécurité à la fenêtre qui est basse aussi.
Un petit frigo dans la chambre serait un avantage.
Peu de place de parc.
