lovely location, perfect spot to sit and dine on lake front

A hotel in an amazing position to Enjoy the Spectacular Lake Lucerne
Pros:

Lake side position is arguably one of the best in Weggis.  However, if you want to maximize this ensure that you have a lake side room, on a  high floor with a  balcony .

Staff are excellent, professional, friendly and customer focused.

Restaurant provides very good, quality food to satisfy most tastes, be it breakfast, lunch or evening .

The hotel terrace offers a spectacular place to dine.

The hotel is very clean, organised and and runs very efficiently.

There is free guest parking for 10 cars on a first come basis. We were fortunate to get a place on all 9 days of our stay.

Ideal position for the bus and boat services,  and to the Rigi cable car.

Cons:

Like most hotels in Weggis it is relatively old and therefore while having charm and a special appeal it does not have the refinements of a modern hotel.  No air conditioning, which was a significant issue during the heatwave of June 26 - hotel provided fans, but they don’t replace ac.

While generally good, the room facilities are basic. No coffee making machines, fridge/mini bar, limited toiletries ( bath and hand soap only),  no bathrobes, no ironing/trouser press. Towels and bedding were changed daily and the room well cleaned.

La camera vista lago

Cons:

La struttura necessita di una ristrutturazione generale, la nostra camera, junior suite, aveva le poltrone bucate, divano e pavimento in parquet macchiati, le tende pure in parte rotte.
Mobili in generale vecchi. Ci sono solo tende sottili, non oscuranti, niente tapparelle per cui al mattino molto presto entra il sole.
Peccato inoltre che la struttura non abbia l’aria condizionata per più confort nei giorni di afa estiva.

Schöner Aufenthalt in wunderbarer Umgebung.
Pros:

sehr schöne Lage am See mit schattiger Terrasse. 2 Minuten zu Fuss zum Schiffsanleger. Schöne Uferpromenade. Lebensmittelgeschäft in der Nähe. Gefälliges Zimmer mit grossem Bad. Super guter und freundlicher Roomservice.

Cons:

Gegenüber des Hotels ist eine Art Bistro wo es abends bzw. nachts etwas kauter werden kann. Im Zimmer hört man Schritte aufgrund des Holzfussbodens auch aus dem Flur und anderen Zimmern. Kleine Mängel im Bad (Farbe blättert ab).

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne und erholsame Zeit in Weggis.
Pros:

Das Hotel war nicht zu gross, ist wohl etwas ins Alter gekommen, hatte aber alles, was es brauchte. Klimaanlage und Safe wären allenfalls noch schöne zusätzliche Sachen.

Pros:

The location and view from the rooms were great. The staff too, especially Peter from Slovakia working in the restaurant. All were very attentive to my friend needing gluten free bread.

Cons:

The key was old-school and very heavy. Could be used for self protection.

Heel fijn verblijf op prachtige locatie

De locatie is prachtig! Het restaurant in de avond is heel goed.
Ook buiten kan je prachtig zitten.
Personeel is heel aardig, alleen vonden wij 1 man aan de bar niet aardig voor zijn personeel. Tip voor hem, aardig zijn kost niets meer!

Cons:

Het ontbijt vond ik wel minder. Alleen gekookte eieren, geen omelet of roerei, geen spek, alleen brood en croissantjes en geen andere cakejes of crackers. De croissants vond ik niet lekker, melig en heel zacht.
Verder wel voldoende vleeswaren en kaas. Geen vers gesneden fruit of vers fruitsap, dat vond ik ook jammer.

Location is Perfect, there are a bus and boat station by the hotel, breakfast Perfect (everything was so fresh and tasty). The room always clean and smell good and they changed our towels everyday. The staff are gentle and friendly, they were amazing. I totaly will be Back.
