Need more English speaking staff though must admit people are very patient with non Chinese speaking clients.
Well overpriced and not a good view surprisingly for a hotel so far from everything, practically suburbs
The girls working in the gym / swimming pool area are rude
Great place to stay!
Thanks.
Excellent hotel, room and service from de people.
Was a disapointed point to know that the hotel do not a good bar. Has an excellent executive room, but is not a good bar we can spent a good time with friends or family after a long day of vacation or working.
地址方便 環境清潔 服務到位
Very deserted
More like a four point than a JW
The minibar was empty and the design of the bathroom was disgustingly annoying
Why ?Why would u put towel rack just right above the toilet??
My head crushed on it for several times
The breakfast just soso
If u want to see the river view
This one may not be ur first choice
Also the janitor is very awesome
If I could give the JW Marriott Staff a 20, I would. In addition to the normally high-quality service provided by Marriott, the staff was beyond excellent--from the front desk to the concierge to the staff throughout the hotel. They kept a special eye on us to make sure we were taken care of (we were the only non-Asians we saw there). We had such a fun evening with their free dumpling-making session on Chinese New Year, followed by a free Chinese New Year dinner and entertainment. They all made us feel at home. Although not located in a downtown area, the hotel is close to some of the more popular venues which are the reason folks come to Haerbin during the Ice and Snow Festival. The hotel offers a free shuttle several times a day to the Ice and Snow World, the Snow Sculpture World, the Siberian Tiger Park, and St Sophie's Church (which is the downtown area). A taxi back from each venue is less than 50 RMB (7 USD). As always, the Marriott breakfast buffet didn't disappoint with a plethora of food and drink offerings. I did want to mention one thing for which I commend the hotel staff. I stupidly left my phone in the taxi one evening and implored their help. They pulled their camera tapes, found the number of the taxi, called the taxi cab company and arranged to have the driver return the phone to me---an invaluable service since the phone contained my Chinese Sim card and I had 3 weeks left to go in China.
I know the temperatures are below 0 F but it was quite warm in the room and we couldn't lower the temperature. This was partially due to the heated floors in the bathroom and vestibule area, which was a nice touch. The internet--connectivity and speed---needs work, but, hey, this is China and not unexpected.
There was problem finding staff who speak good English. Food at the lobby was below average and took almost an hour!
One of the worst JW Marriott properties we have stayed at. Checked in around 1pm and by the time we settled into the room, we headed towards the restaurant in the hotel only to find out that the only option was their fine dining Chinese restaurant. Asked for a quick lunch option and they didn’t have any. The images online show a very posh hotel, but it’s pretty run down. The executive lounge too is quite poor. Will not recommend
The hotel provides services as other 4-5-star hotel does, including breakfast, afternoon tea and light dinner, but the facilities are very dated, for example the rugs in the public area are not pleasant to see.
I would not return to this hotel for my next visit for sure if the hotel remains the same condition.
excellent breakfast and room arrangement
Gym cooling system and lack of water/towels availability in the morning
Got a free room upgrade. A satisfying experience
Highly recommend
