The breakfast was one of the best I've had- an array of delicious, healthy options. Staff were friendly and the facility was entirely clean.
A bit of a mix up with my room at check-in, the staff handled it professionally and efficiently.

Not one usb port in whole room house keeping checked). Shower was inadequately safeguarded not enough hand rails. Desk moved. We paid before we came through booking.com and ended up being billed twice for the same amount. We have protested through our credit card and it looks like you will be paid but booking will not. I was told my invoice would be mailed to me but after calling you and now after speaking to 3 people you still have not received the invoice. Woman at front desk seemed more interested in her phone than in helping me. It seemed to be a personal phone call as she eventually said she would call back.
We love the professionalism of the staff, environment, room and breakfast quality. I have not stayed at any other hotel since staying at a Homewood Suites. We stayed at Homewood suites for the weekend to attend the "Bands of America" regional tournament at the Northwest Waukee High school. I wanted to stay closer as Homewood Suites was 20 minutes away however I knew trying somewhere else would not be worth the quality that Homewood Suites provides!

A great place to lay your head. Quiet, even with plenty of other guests around. The hotel is also located with plenty of food options around too.

I liked the quality of the hotel. It was clean and inviting.
I did not like the fact that my tv remotes did not work properly. The pots and pans in my suite were not suitable. I purchased my own skillet from the Walmart across the street.
This was a very disappointing lodging experience. First, I discovered that my toilet would not flush but the sound of water could be heard continuously. This was at about 8 p.m. on my last night. I called the front desk, and that person said she would call her supervisor to assist in resolving this. I later received a call back from the front desk. The lady advised their maintenance person was unreachable and the hotel was full so there was nothing they could do about the plumbing issue. This did not make for a very quiet or restful night of sleep. Additionally, the manager's reception was pathetic. It was supposed to run from 5:30 pm to 7 pm, but did not begin until after 6 pm. The wait was not worth it. The food offered was minimal and very low quality. The draft beer tasted old and flat. Lastly, the ice machine on my floor did not work and the digital key worked intermittently on the outside doors of the hotel. As a Diamond Member who stays in a lot of Hilton brand hotels, this Homewood Suites definitely fell short of the normal high quality and standards of Hilton. With all of these issues, no staff member attempted to make things right.
