Le Foyer Hotel

Good little hotel right in the heart of the restaurant and bar area. Rooms were smallish but tolerable and great value for the price. Breakfast was on the rooftop and was quite good but limited. All hotels in this area are like this one so it was comparatively good for a crazy A$50 pn.

Dejligt personale.
Desværre var der meget lydt på værelset og vi kunne høre massagen i bygningen ved siden af samt de andre værelser.

Derudover kunne vi høre alt det foregik ude på gangen.

Madrassen var hård som en sten så vi sov virkelig dårligt.

하노이 시내, 구시가지, 호안끼엠 호수, 수상인형극장 등 모두 가깝습니다.
숙소에서 걸어서 유명 관광지 갈 수 있어서 좋습니다.
다만, 호텔이 오래되어 노후된 시설이 곳곳에 있습니다.
직원들 친절하고 조식도 깔끔하고 좋았습니다.

Breakfast buffet short staffed when busy. Refil of food not done. Air-conditioner in our room not working properly.

Great hotel, awesome breakfast and wonderful staff. The staff always willing to help you and provide with any type of assistance you need during your trip. I will stay again at this hotel when I visit the area next time.

It's a good hotel but had a problem with the heat the first night. It was fixed the next day.

I like the size of my room. The toilet was backed up 1 day but then was fixed. The staff is polite and professional and helpful. The menu for breakfast is modest and not sure why spaghetti was offered for breakfast. But overall the location is so convenient.

La chambre avec vue lac est parfaite. Idéalement située.

Center of old town Hanoi and Hoan Kiem lake. Very convenient. We got a room with a lake view. Nice hosts, front desk, breakfast across the board. clean and comfortable room. Recommended.

Das Hotel war in Ordnung, insbesondere das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war fair. Lediglich das Fenster in unserem Zimmer war nicht wirklich als Fenster zu bezeichnen - es ging in einen schmalen Schacht hinaus in dem die Klimageräte hingen.
Das Personal war sehr freundlich.
Die Lage direkt um die Ecke des Hoan Kiem Sees ist optimal.
Für 1-2 Nächte in Hanoi würde ich das Hotel wieder buchen.

Do yourself favor and book another hotel. The front receptionist was rude and refused to give back my passport. He eventually scanned it and returned it after I insisted. He made sure to roll his eyes at me several times as if I was demanding something outrageous. There are no locks on the door and I didn't feel safe as I am a solo traveler. There are no windows, wallpaper peeling, bed uncomfortable, water dripping in the corner. I'd imagine a prison is more comfortable. Looks nothing like the pictures online. I checked out an hour later in the middle of the night, didn't even want to sit on the bed better yet sleep on it. Absolutely pass on this hotel!

A good value hotel.

We stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel is quite new just 2-3 years old. Small, clean and modern at superb location in the heart of Old Quarter, just opposite the Tirant Hotel, 5 minutes walk to Hoan Kiem Lake, Water Puppet Theatre and night market. The room is huge, clean, furnished with wooden furnitures, many cupboard storage space and big comfortable bed. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was limited choice

We stayed for 3 nights. The hotel is conveniently located at the Old Quarters.The reception staffs are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is also not bad and we have no problem with the free Wifi too.
We will certainly choose this hotel should we come back to Hanoi again.
