Old Capital Bike Inn

A sweet little place with nice, helpful staff, they go out of their way to help. Make sure you sign up for the night bike ride. Location is not super close to things, but the area is walkable especially along the canal near the inn and walkable to the river boat and temples. Really good breakfast to start your day. Rooms are clean and comfortable, fun interesting decor. The loft has a steep narrow stair to get down from the bed to bathroom, a word of caution if you have limited mobility.

The staff at Old Capital Bike Inn were absolutely amazing - they treated everyone like family. The accommodations were ultra clean and the bed was super comfortable. There are quite a few (free) breakfast options and the meals were delicious. OCBI was close to everything we wanted to see. The king loft room has some steep stairs to navigate which might make it a bit more challenging for guests with limited mobility but these weren’t a big issue for us (elderly) guests. The OCBI team added all the special touches for a great stay - great touring/dining recommendations, suggestions for navigating some Bangkok's more challenging stops, and even best places to catch the beautiful sunsets. I can't wait to go back and consider a different room, just to see/enjoy what the other spaces look like.

Amazing, small hotel in the heart of Bangkok, beautifully designed, awesome staff (they even managed to get one of our phones back that we lost in a cab), excellent breakfast, complimentary bicycle tour,... my #1 choice in Bangkok 😊💯 Jason & team - you rock!

Jason and his staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The location is near several temples in the “old city”. There is a pool available for use which is great on hot days and when you need a break. They left little gifts in your room, offered a free fabulous bike ride through the city at night, and provided tons of suggestions where to go and what to see. They did it with an attitude of warmth and hospitality that you don’t see anymore.

Small rooms but comfortable. staff are very friendly. Breakfasts are great. Walkable to markets and restaurants.

Exceptional customer service, even helped with birthday surprise for wife, and great advice for exploring city. Great location for walking and amazing breakfast. We stayed while there was construction out front on road. Room soundproofing worked great and we had wonderful stay.

We stayed here for one night before our flight home from Bangkok and honestly, we wish it had been longer! From the moment we arrived, the attention to detail was incredible. Every part of the hotel felt so thoughtfully designed – it’s such a beautiful place and has such a calm, special atmosphere.

One of the sweetest touches was the little fish in the plant vases on each table – such a unique and thoughtful detail that really made the space feel alive and different from anywhere else we’ve stayed.

The staff were absolutely amazing – so warm, welcoming and attentive without ever being overbearing. They genuinely made our short stay feel so memorable.

Breakfast was another highlight – so delicious with plenty of choice and everything beautifully presented. It was the perfect way to start our last day.

We also loved that the hotel offers a free bike tour, which is such a brilliant extra touch. We didn’t get the chance to take part as we were only there for one night, but it’s such a lovely idea and gives us even more reason to come back.

Even though it was just a quick stop before heading home, it was the perfect way to end our trip. We will definitely be back – and next time for longer!

We were on Honey Moon and booked the Honey Moon Suite. Jason, Pat and the full team were just extraordinary, from check-in, special welcome and decoration in the room, amazing and delicious breakfast, and, last but no least, a perfect location easy to enjoy with the bikes at night! Thanks a lot team, you made our honey moon unforgettable!

Amazing Stay at the Old Capital Bike Inn. Jason and staff were so arm and welcoming. We did the bike tour our first night with MU (?spelling) and it was a great way to get to know our city. Even though there was construction going on the nights were quiet and it was not disruptive at all.
All of Jason's recommendations' from the massage to restaurants were spot on and within walking distance. We left very early (5 AM) for our next destination and they had coffee and toast ready for us ! Would give OCBI our highest recommendation!

We loved our stay at Old Capital Bike Inn - it really felt like a home-away-from-home. Our room was comfortable and we had plenty of space to stretch out. The breakfasts were amazing! And the free bike tour is great - the city is so peaceful at night.

What a wonderful stay . Location was great in Old Town Bangkok ,within walking distance of many attractions . The accommodation was quirky and beautiful and the staff couldn't have been more helpful . The vintage bike ride was one of the highlights of our trip . Well done to Jason and his team for creating a peaceful haven , thank you for looking after us so well .

We loved this boutique hotel. The service was splendid and the staff friendly and helpful. The decor was so clever as they used salvaged doors and pieces from old ruins. We were able to walk to many places without having to rely on transportation.

What a gem of a place. We lucked out finding this: location, vibe, staff - it ticks all the boxes.

Our time at Old Capital Bike Inn was truly special. From the time of our arrival to the moment of our departure we were met with generous hospitality, wonderful accommodations, delicious food and thoughtful service. The night bike tour was a highlight of our time in Bangkok and is not to be missed. The graciousness of our hosts made us feel welcomed, right at home, and so comfortable. We highly recommend the Old Capital Bike Inn and will plan to stay there on our next visit to Bangkok.

My two teen boys and I stayed at the inn Jan 2026 and had a great time. The location is very central, and you can easily walk to many of Bangkok's sites. The inn is charmingly decorated with odds and ends and artwork; you can tell a lot of thought has been put into the spaces. We stayed in the family suite and, while the space was small, it was perfect for the three of us (again, teen boys so that is saying something). We took advantage of the breakfasts in the AM and those were delicious. Finally, we cannot say enough good things about Jason and his staff; they went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and able to enjoy Bangkok. Any question we had they were there to help. I also cannot recommend the bike tour enough. My 11-year-old had the best time, and Jason was very patient with him and all his questions while also making us feel safe navigating Bangkok on bikes. A fantastic stay and wonderful value. We will definitely go back to Bangkok and will certainly stay here again.
