Very nice hotel with friendly, help staff.
The room was absolutely clean, spacious, with nice bed. The location was good as well with walking distance from main attractions, centro, and river. Highly recommend this hotel.

Great location - provided you don’t mind walking down to the touristy areas by the water. Easy access to transit.

Breakfast was excellent.

Easy luggage storage if needed.

Would come back and definitely reccomend.

The Heroismo metro station is on the same block. Also, the Christina's cafe on the corner was quick and excellent for breakfast. The hotel itself was very clean, and well appointed. It was quiet and a lovely haven from the busy streets and sensory abundance in Porto.

Overall a very nice hotel but the service is lacking. Delay in check in because of shift change and one evening I thought I would have drink and dinner at the bar, but after one staff member brought me a menu, no one ever came back to take an order despite three staff walking around serving a handful of other patrons, or just standing around. So, after 20 minutes I left and made other arrangements.

My friend and I each booked a room for 4 nights in this hotel. There was loud music from the bar opposite of the street. We could hear music from our room until 1 am in the morning.
My friend, room unfortunately had a weak AC unit. They were feeling super warm on all the nights. They tried to get the hotel stuff situation but unfortunately no improvement could be seen.

Pros:

The staff made us feel welcome and at home since the first second we walked in. This is perhaps one of the best experiences we've had in a very long time. We were celebrating a birthday, and they surprised us with a bottle of champagne and a beautiful birthday note.

The location is absolutely great. Within walking distance to the Metro station, and a bunch of local places to eat and enjoy without getting sucked into tourist traps.

We'd come back here without a doubt.
