First off, the staff was very gracious. The rooms were clean and the linens newer. The building could use some updating as the sidewalks are sinking a bit making it harder for those with mobility issues to get into their rooms. It also appears that most of the guests are transients workers, maybe in oil, which isn't an issue but they have different needs then visitors to an area. The rooms are small and my room did not have some of the items that my son's room had, like chairs
The receptionist was nice. She personally cleaned our room. The facility is very old and not updated or maintained.
Staff was great.
Boarded up windows, missing smoke detector, microwave but no refrigerator. Only spent the night because it was close to where we had to go the next day. This is a motel not hotel.
Outside areas are overgrown
Didn’t check til 11pm by choice the attendant took 45 minutes to answer the door I guess she was sleeping then she another 20 minutes to checkin all the way in that room wasn’t worth 50 dollars the headboard I was falling off the wall there was duct tape around the air conditioner the heat didn’t keep the room warm I wouldn’t use the bathroom
The bed was not good and not very neat…. Not at all suitable for couples… I wouldn’t recommend.
The place was filthy, exposed pipes were in the bathroom. There was a fist hole in the door. Some guy tried to come into our room while we were looking at it. Please refund my money !!!!
The lady at reception was such a kind soul. At night you can't see the driveway entrance. I'm all for no frills places. This was incredible. Black mold on the shower head. A taped window. Bugs. Bed begs are actually the final straw. I still have massive amount of bites days later. Unless they bomb every room and replace the moldy items? It's not real inhabitable.
Let me begin by saying that I did something for the first time ever at a motel. I booked two nights, but bailed after the first night. Didn't try to get a refund, not to mention that would've been tricky since the motel was closed for most of the 2nd day, so there was nobody to talk to even if I wished to. That said, the woman at check-in was perfection pleasant. The place, however, wasn't pleasant at all. It was many small buildings on dirt roads. No real sign that anything is being done to maintain them or the roads. We had a non-smoking room, but it smelled heavily of smoke. Everything white had turned yellow from years of smoking, and the bedding had holes burned in it. The lampshades were yellowed and stained, and all broken up. The wooden tables they sat upon were dirty, and also had lots of burns were cigarettes had sat and burned down. The bathroom door was thin. So thin that 3 holes had been punched through it. 2 from the inside, and 1 from outside. My wife believed there were rodent droppings on the bathroom floor, but I didn't care enough to get on my knees and investigate. It was just an all-around uncomfortable place to be. The only redeeming feature was that the bed was uncommonly comfortable. Despite everything else being borderline ancient and/or repulsive, the mattress did seem new, and was covered in waterproof protector. What was under that, who knows. Was it there to keep bugs out, or keep them in? I had no intention on finding out. My advice, stay away.
The clerk was pleasant. The room was ok. Inspite of the no smoking sign on the door, the room smelled of smoke. There were burn holes on the floor and bedding but otherwise appeared to be clean. A very small bathroom without an exhaust fan was functional, not handicapped accessible. Dim lighting as one of the light bulbs in the ceiling light was missing. There wasn't a closet to hang up your clothes. No room phone or phone book. There was a microwave and small refrigerator as well as TV. You can hear the road traffic as my room was near the road. The bed was very squeeky. Parking near the room. Dim lighting outside at night. A cheap overnight stay. Lawns needs mowed.
I was robbed. My room ransacked ans feel like i was drugged. I called the police and was surprised by special agents in regards to human traffing.rehearsal of the guest next door was afterthey left and attendent was just at my bungalow guest was. Saying not to use expedia today bc it wa non refundable and management info wouldnt be shared but relayed ihe was not allowed to stay here another day bc of the crime committed against me. I am a victim and am being victimized again by no where to go. Still no contact made. Im still disgusted w the reaction i recieved.
Run down motel with bed bugs!! No go.!
I actually did not stay here because of the poor conditions I saw outside/around the rooms.
Terrible!! Holes in the walls, bugs in the lamp, dirty, unsanitary & incompetent staff. I have photos to show how bad this hotel was. We sent one of our men there for a work assignment in the area and we had to switch hotels for him the day he arrived because it was THAT BAD. We are still waiting to hear back on getting our money returned. AWEFUL HOTEL!!!! Do not book this place...you will regret it.
No Wi-Fi and you never seen anyone there to help you didn't clean rooms and all just bad place was not what they say it was
I would like a refund, the bath conditions and environment were unacceptable
This is a dilapidated house with the driveway full of deep potholes and not paved. There was no parking. I could not find the place and called for help. I received one of the most unhelpful responses. I therefore through orbitz booked another hotel , comfort inn and stayed there the night.
I want a refund for the ordeal orbitz put me through. Prasad
Hotel is retro from the 50's. Nothing fancy, but not terrible either. Certainly not a Hilton but I like retro. The misses may not have concurred. Bed was really comfortable.
To fellow travelers, do not ever stay here. The pictures are very misleading and not accurate to what the place actually looks like. It's not really a motel, but "cabins." I use the term cabins here loosely. There are 12 concrete square buildings that look awful on the outside and even worse on the inside. The "cabin" I was put in had a lock on the outside of the door that could have been used to lock me inside the room with no way to get out, the room key I was given was not able to be used to take the lock off and bring it inside the room with me. Inside, the room felt like a prison cell. A very dirty, broken down bed, a broken down lamp, a small broken down bathroom and a TV from 1950. I walked in and walked out and went and turned my key back in to the very creepy man running the place. He refused to refund my money since they have a no refund policy you are not told about before booking, so I ate the money and left because there was no way I was going to stay a second in that room. I'm sure there were bed bugs and who knows what else in that room, but I didn't take the time to search. I was in and out very fast.
