A last minute booking snagged me an amazing room and view. I had some misgivings at first due to other reviews, but needn't have worried. With two exceptions, staff were very friendly, and breakfast and the several dinners I ate there were great (the chef even modified one course for me to meet my dietary requirements). Yes, the common areas and rooms may not be up to 5 star standards, BUT the hotel is only 3 stars and the prices reflect this. I highly recommend a sea view room, and stay for at least one dinner!
A couple of staff were less than friendly (though most were great) and one or two could use more training/mentoring.

1heure d’attente avant d’être servis et après plusieurs rappel pour signifier notre présence. La serveuse a dû prendre 3 fois la commande car elle ne se rappelait pas avoir l’avoir déjà prise. Finalement les plats servis ne correspondaient pas à la commande et ce n’était pas bon

The hotel is in a great location, right on the promenade, and it’s a safe part of town. The breakfast was good, and the portions were good. The staff were friendly, and the desk is manned 24 hours. The rooms were generally clean.
The carpets needed a clean, and the walls were thin.
