Kein Frühstücksbuffet, Joghurt und Obst auf Nachfrage. Alte Einrichtung, Matratzen durchgelegen. Zimmerreinigung in 7 Tagen einmal, am 3. Tag. Parkplatz vorhanden, aber bei Hotel Veranstaltung sehr voll. Sehr hellhörig und entweder ganz früh morgens oder nachts Laufgeräusche. Old Fashion und weit entfernt vom heutigen Standard.

The steps to and from carpark to hotel
Location perfect after leaving ferry. Martin on reception very helpful and friendly.He even booked us a taxi for our departure next morning. Breakfast was great - good choice,and well presented and cooked to perfection.

This is an old hotel built in 1862 and it has lots of old world charm with some rooms offering a view on the sea.
The restaurant offerings were mediocre but I liked the pancakes at breakfast.
The brilliant view of the sea and the fact you were able to offer me a room when the flight from St Marys airport was cancelled and I was put on the 4.30 Scillonian. By the time we arrived in Penzance no trains would have got me home but the Queens came up trumps. Comfortable bed and great views.

Renommiertes altehrwürdiges Hotel direkt an der Promenade. Wir hatten eine Suite mit Meerblick. Das Zimmer war groß und die Aussicht direkt aufs Meer wunderschön. Badezimmer ausreichend groß und sauber. Das Restaurant mit Aussicht aufs Meer edel eingerichtet, wenn auch schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Frühstücksauswahl gut, besonders das warme Frühstück, bei den kalten Speisen ist noch Luft nach oben. Speisekarte ist übersichtlich, aber die Gerichte sind gut zubereitet. Die Nähe zu den Jubilee Pools ist sehr vorteilhaft, da der Strand eigentlich nicht vorhanden ist. Lediglich bei Ebbe ist etwas Strand sichtbar.
Insgesamt ist das Hotel in die Jahre gekommen. Einige Dinge müssten dringend erneuert werden, zum Beispiel die Fußböden im Restaurant und im Foyer.
