Clean room. Comfy beds. Friendly staff.
Pros:

Overall we enjoyed our staff at the Microtel. The beds / pillows were very comfortable. However, we found the room dark. The room needed more lights along one wall and there was no lights in the alcov for the coffee machine or overhead lights so it was very difficult to see when making coffee. Cleaning staff did an excellent job. I would stay there again.

Great place to stay
Pros:

The staffs were super friendly and helpful except two of them. 😅 good location , great breakfast

Sometimes the housekeeping services were missing something it happened once though.

Disappointing
Pros:

Breakfast was ok

Cons:

The rooms were small and not really clean, it was disappointing. We had stayed in a Marriot in North Bay and for over $100 less we had a nice room and the breakfast was exceptional. It feels like the hotel is only catering to temporary shift workers at the mines and if you happen to be a visitor, you've just walked into their place.

Very happy we discovered this hotel.
Pros:

Very clean and very friendly staff! Overall amazing stay. Kids loved the pool and I especially loved the extremely clean room.

Kirkland Lake Microtel staff and management punch above 1st tier hotels from around the world. They go above and beyond! There service and hospitality are nothing short of extraordinary. The staff and management are salt of the earth and down-to-earth people who know how to bring hospitality and service at its best!
