Microtel by Wyndham Penn Yan Finger Lakes Region

It is always a wonderful experience. The room is huge and clean. The staff is pleasant. The breakfast was good. Check in was easy and the front desk was very helpful. The bathroom amenities are very nice. We would definitely stay here again. Penn Yan is a favorite place of ours.

The Microtel is ideally located in the center of Penn Yan, just 4 minutes' walk from the historic center, with its shops and small selection of bars and restaurants. There's ample free parking outside.
Of 5 hotels used on a recent trip through Penn., NY and Ontario, this was my favourite motel. The room was modern, unpretentious and, although it had a shower not a bath, convenient – and everything worked. The pool and gym were almost underneath my room, which was on the first floor with a staircase connecting the two without needing to walk along a corridor or use an elevator.
The Microtel’s breakfast was quite good, and included a yoghurt and a DIY full size waffle, which I found almost too much for me.

Great place to stay with all the amenities we where looking for. Friendly staff, clean rooms, food and drink within walking distance (if the weather had been better :) ). Highly recommend.

Hotel is fairly quiet and Clean I do not have very much to complain about. I've been staying at this location very regularly since July of 25 through November of 25.

This is an excellent place to stay if you want to hike and see waterfalls. It is 30 minutes from Watkins State Park and 1 hour from Letworth State Park. There is a excellent walking trail in Penn Yan, just a few minute walk from the hotel. TheTavern Restaurant that is east of the hotel has incredible food.
10 minutes from the hotel is the Antique Inn, another awesome resteraunt.
If you want to go to the Finger Lakes region of New York, this is an excellent choice.

We were there to celebrate my grnaddaughter's birthday. We had two rooms and the rooms were perfect. The girls (my granddaughters and friends) spent time in the pool and they loved it. After a busy weekend, there were not enough towels in the pool room. I was given some, but the shelf was empty. Breakfast was a problem since by the time we got there, much of it was gone and not restocked. The juice machine was out of order and one waffle maker was too, so it took quite a while for everyone to get what they wanted. We were there at the end of June and things were in better shape. We'll go back and hope for better next time.

We skipped the breakfast so we didn't really see any of the employees after checkin. We loved our room.

Nice variety for breakfast. Serveral some local shops to visit. The local tavern has great food.

Great location, comfortable bed with quality linens, great hearty breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

Parking was at a premium because I arrived late and there are limited spaces coupled with tavern patrons using the hotel lot. Everything was great except being awakened to loud music and shrill screams from students holding a car was at the firehouse directly across the street.

Our stay at the Microtel by Wyndham in Penn Yan was excellent. Location was close to wonderful restaurants and hiking. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to return.

Quiet, neat and clean!

Wonderful facility, would definitely stay again

Room was extremely cold upon arrival as it was set at 60. That is way too cold and should be set higher when expecting guests. Luckily, we turned up the temp and it eventually became comfortable. Room had a wonderful little mini kitchenette. And we found the room to be a great value.

The hotel room was clean but very small (obviously since it was a Microtel). The staff were really friendly and the breakfast was okay. Penn Yan is a small town but the hotel is located very near several restaurants, stores, and taverns. All in walking distance. The only thing about this hotel and that it has only one elevator and it is very slow.
