Appartementen zijn prima, mooi en schoon en ligt dichtbij het safari park. Restaurant is redelijk tot goed, afhankelijk welk gerecht je kiest, ontbijt is prima maar haal koffie maar bij de buren. Verder niet veel te doen in de omgeving.
The bathroom was spacious and the location is close to the entrance of the national park. The staff was very polite and helpful.
The room was quite dirty. The price we paid was quite high for the area and we would expect it to be much cleaner. The breakfast was very disappointing. I don’t think we got what we should have gotten for the amount of money that we paid.

Nous avons trouvé des cafards dans notre chambre… après l’avoir signalé, on nous a changé de chambre mais il y en avait encore…
Le petit-déjeuner vous est proposé après le safari, mais vous n’êtes pas informé que ce n’est pas inclus dans la chambre, et il vous est ensuite facturé.
Il y a beaucoup de bruit la nuit, il s’agit probablement des grenouilles qui se baignent dans la piscine.
Le repas est bon mais vous tomberez malade.

Es sah genau aus wie auf den Bildern. Wir haben gut geschlafen. Das Personal war super freundlich und hat uns eine Jeep Safari, tuktuks, Massage und Transport zur nächsten Unterkunft besorgt und das alles zu einem normalen Preis.
We loved our stay at Elephant Trail. The property is in a beautiful location with views out over nature. Everybody who works there is wonderful, and very helpful. A big thank you to Nadun and Indunil at reception, and to the excellent team in the restaurant. The property is clean and friendly. We ate lunch, dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and all of our meals were exceptional. I’m a vegetarian and there was an excellent variety of choices for me.
We had a fun time in the swimming pool, and the hotel arranged our morning safari. It was amazing! We saw elephants and a crocodile and monkeys and loads of birds including hornbills, kingfishers and bee eaters! Wow, what an incredible experience.
Thank you everybody, Elephant Trail has a lot of heart and soul. Highly recommended.
It was an okay stay, we mainly needed a location close to the Elephant safari park. They gave a great takeaway breakfast. A bit of a budget friendly hotel that is great if you need to go to an early morning safari.
Room amenities can be better.
The staff was amazing, very accommodating. There was a breakfast buffet which was very welcome after the safari (they kept it open until we returned at 10am)

I had a lovely stay. It's perfect for 1 night. I arrived in the early afternoon and was able to enjoy the afternoon swimming and eating lunch at the swimming pool. In the evening I went to the elephant orphanage feeding and early the next morning I did an elephant safari, which is quite close by. They packed a breakfast for me to take on safari. Dinner in the restaurant was also good. The room was large and had a fridge. Everything was great, especially considering the reasonable price.
It's true there are some insects, but it's in a nature reserve, so it is to be expected.
