The staff were very helpful and friendly. The war museum was a real eye opener

We were greeted very well by Tuu & Lock who told all the in's & out's of the place! At first it's not the easiest place to find as it's located down some alley ways, the room was clean and adequate for our needs and surprisingly quiet for it's central location for all the action! We felt safe and for the budget conscious traveller it ticked some boxes.

Don't be put off by the warren of alleys this hotel is down. I have the double room: very clean and comfortable, but more importantly, the staff are amazing. Friendly, have integrity and genuinely care about your welfare. The cooked breakfasts are very impressive, with them even providing me with a bag of food when I had to leave early for my flight.

If I could give 6 stars for service, I would! Upon arrival, I was greeted with clear, concise instructions (and they even briefed me on the local safety measures!) The area was a 2 minute walk from the fun and festivities on Bui Vien, yet it was quiet and extremely safe. Breakfast was fresh every morning, and I always came back to my room feeling welcomed.

Such a good place to stay in central HCMC. The staff are absolutely amazing! So friendly and helpful throughout, breakfast is included and it was all delicious. So much to choose from and a really high standard. Location is close to the Main Street and bars and restaurants but tucked away enough to be quiet. Highly recommend!

A little hard to find/get to with luggage but a very nice stay. Genuine, helpful staff and a great breakfast! There's literally a book of options for breakfast, it's almost overwhelming but fun to choose.

The room at this place was jammed with 3 beds. There was no window. The awful, pink Hello Kitty blankets were really jolting. The ultra thin mattress was the kicker. It was a horrible night's sleep.

We loved our stay at Saigon Inn! The rooms are comfortable and the location is great - in the middle of District 1 but in a residential area, so there is no noise. It's like an oasis set back away from the chaos of the streets. The hosts are simply wonderful! They greeted us by name every time they saw us, asked us how we were doing, offered tips for sightseeing, and walked us around the neighborhood when we first arrived so we would know where to go. They provided breakfast each morning - we selected from an extensive menu and the food was delicious! It was so much food that we often would skip lunch since we weren't hungry and just wait until dinner to eat. This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in, primarily due to the friendliness and helpfulness of the people who work there. I highly recommend anyone going to Ho Chi Minh City to stay at the Saigon Inn! I know that if we ever return to the city, we will definitely be staying here again!

We just completed our stay in a private room here for several nights. The owner of this hotel has fantastic staff. They are very welcoming and willing to attend to your every need. They give you information on how to stay safe-that was not a problem-they just care and want you to enjoy HCMC. That's a kind of people they are. They will bend over backwards to make you happy. Although the hotel rooms are rather small they are very clean. It is very close to a park and busses. They give you a menu for breakfast that has 146 options under 3 categoried: western, Vietnamese, and Chinese. Restaurants and the major backpacker street are close by. Would definitely stay here again.

Very clean and great place to stay. Breakfast was excellentl, and staff are kind and very helpful. Helped us book a bus without any commission etc. staff are very vigilant on security - maybe a little too much (as it makes you feel like something may happen). In a good location, just down an alleyway, very safe though.

I found everything to be SPOTLESS. I even asked the receptionist if it is a new hostel as everything is clean and white (even the spaces within the tiles!) and she said it's been running for 5 years! Lol. But seriously, even though you have to pass through dirty streets, you will always feel safe here. Staff was very helpful.
