We liked everything. The hotel is beautiful. The scenery is beautiful. Such a relaxing vibe but also so much to do within walking distance. We love how everything was right there though as in the restaurant, full bar which did not disappoint! The food and drinks were exceptional, with an amazing staff as well . The pool. and hot tub are very nice and we liked the intimate bonfires you could have without sharing that space 😬
All in all it was a wonderful stay! We will definitely book here again next summer when we come back.
property has nice facilities and is well maintained. Views from back of property are great. Meal at Silos was very good.
floors were sticky in the elevator and on our room floor coming off elevator. Had to ask it be cleaned after seeing it still there several hours later. The biggest problem was the internet. The connection was really bad most of the time. Waiting 3 minutes for a website to open. The only time it seemed to work was very early in morning.
The property was clean, has a great view of the lift bridge from the hot tub to watch the ships come in. They have a shuttle that will take you anywhere within 5 miles which was very handy, we used it to bring us to a restaurant and then pick us up to bring us to a great speak easy for drinks, and then pick us up to bring us back to the resort. Staff was very friendly.
The amenities were great! My son loved making s’mores.
The staff at the desk upon check in were really young, they seemed to prioritize socializing over attending to guests.
Love the view...clean...everyone very kind... no complaints... blankets for outside a nice touch... bar window is cool to order drinks.....nice umbrellas at enterance .......beautiful flowers....
pretty expensive...someone should wipe off outside chairs after it rains.......
Great views
The hotel was beautiful right on Lake Superior
Staff very friendly
And professional
Great resort
Great views
Nice resort and convenient location to the DECC. Rooms were nice
Front office staff were horrible. They didn’t care about my needs they kept referring to a canned statement of guarantee check in of 4:00 and when we came back at 3:00 they then said they had a hazardous spill. I again said my concert starts at 4:00. Don’t you have a single room open?!? No. You can use the public restroom to change and get ready. Unacceptable!!
My husband surprised me for my birthday which was so nice as I love Pier B. Unfortunately,, next door there was a mom and three kids that even at 11:00 were outside the room screaming and yelling, slamming their door and it was very annoying! Hard to sleep as first thing early doors were slamming! Was frustrating!
Beautiful and clean.
Wish there was a continental breakfast.
We stayed at the Pier B Hotel for the business part of our trip. The hotel at first appears not to be centrally located, but actually is very close to everything as you can walk to the canal district in a matter of 10 to 15 minutes. On the hotel property, there is a good restaurant which I have reviewed separately as well as many activities For adult adults and families along with a small performance area that is utilized in the summer. They also offer the ability to make s’mores as people sit out by the fire and watch the ships on the water. My room was comfortable, not ideal for working but suitable for that purpose.Service as far as front desk and housekeeping was great. Bathroom clean shower had good hot water. I see why the hotel was chosen for the meeting.
