Depot Inn & Suites

The Inn was immaculately clean, comfortable, and the beds and shower were excellent. The breakfast was very good too. We will stay here again.

We didn't eat brkft. Location is good, we stay there whenever we go see our kids The staff is excellent! We usually come in late, it doesn't matter, they still are Great with us. And fresh coffee in the morning!!! Love that everything is ground floor. Pillows & bed were comfortable. T.V. was good. Parking & lighting was good.

From the time we arrived we were greeted by a very great manager and an employee with smiles and very easy to check in and have any questions answered. The room was clean, had two comfortable beds, a recliner to relax in, and a desk with a chair. Every time we left and came back we were greeted by the staff. The train memorabilia is great and I saw some familiar items and never seen before items from the railroad. The breakfast was wonderful with scrambled eggs, sausage, yogurt, snack cakes, waffles, cereal, etc. To drink you had a choice of coffee, hot chocolate, white or chocolate milk. Check out was quick and easy with the same wonderful staff. If ever in that area again, I will be staying there again. Only discovered it while planning a trip to the state park in Mason. We are trying a new way of traveling in the state of Missouri by visiting the State parks. Quick trips to enjoy what Missouri parks offer.

if you're reading this you should be booking your stay here you will never be disappointed

They have six bikes for the kids to ride in the back they have a playground they have a grill they have an outside patio in the back away from the road for kids to run and play

They have a very large pool and they have an outdoor patio off of the pool room if you need a fresh air The pool area is very cool

This is a train themed hotel it actually shows pictures of the trains that come in and out of La Plata it has a pool table for adults

You have to walk up and down the hallways to appreciate everything it is amazing all the train stuff the artifacts when you walk in you are wowed

The young gentleman that greeted us was from the University of Minnesota went to school he's been here for 4 years a very nice gentleman

If you need to stop someplace on your way would highly recommend

He offered us a Jacuzzi room 20 bucks off we took it

This is a boutique hotel the breakfast was amazing waffles eggs sausage cereal pastries fruit oatmeal yogurt

The staff were just as amazing

You can even walk down to a Mexican restaurant and the dollar store is across the street from the Mexican restaurant all within visual of the hotel it has a gas station as well

Highly highly recommend his voice you will not be disappointed after we got the jacuzzi tub I soaked in it for 2 hours the bed was amazing the rooms 's beautiful colors love the colors in this hotel I cannot say enough

They do sell shirts they have a little general store some train memorabilia to buy they have ice cream you can buy and some medicines your basics

To top it off the bed was very comfortable and amazing and a little added bonus they had a little footstool to get into the bed we were in the sportsman suite

I always like the museum atmosphere. It has a real cool railroad vibe about the area abnd has history along with the childhood book author Lester Dent (Kenneth Robeson).

The breakfast was ok, but the food was standard stuff.

My room and hotel lobby and hallways were very clean. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful and even came to my room to help with a wifi issue.
Location was great and within walking distance to stores and restaurants.

Breakfast was sufficient.
One level is great.
Staff were wonderfully pleasant!
