Worth it for a night!
Pros:

The location! It is so close to the central station and the center. So great to get there with the luggage ans the host very kind.

Cons:

The stars once you get you need to get up 3 floors by Narrow stairs and is kind of dangerous to fall down. The room was ok, very small and we didn’t realized that it was a room with shared bathroom. The shower and the toilet are in other floor upstairs.

Basic But Great Location.
Pros:

Location is excellent- a few minutes walk to Centraal station and lots of good places to eat close by too. The host was lovely and went out of his way to be attentive and helpful - lent me an umbrella for my stay; did his best to warm up the room etc. Room was clean and bathroom good. The bedding was warm and comfortable even though the room was a bit cold for me.

Cons:

Coming from the Middle East, even with the small heater put in the room, it was a bit cold. Due to fire risk, the host couldn’t let me leave it on when I was out during the day, but even overnight the heater didn’t do much. Not sure why the built-in radiators weren’t in use. The bedding was warm enough though. The single beds in my room felt uncomfortably narrow for my 175cm/104kg frame. I pushed them together, but the height of the mattresses left a trough that defeated the attempt at making a bigger bed. If my stay had been longer than a couple of nights I would have tried to get a room with a double bed. My front room on the ground floor let in noise from foot traffic and I’m a light-sleeper so I was woken up by conversations on the street late at night a few times - if offered this room, ask for another

Close to Rotterdam CS. Kettle in the room - filling it was a bit of a mission though.

Fijne schone kamer. Aanrader voor iedereen die een betaalbare locatie zonder opsmuk op een centrale plek in de stad zoekt. Top eigenaar. Kroeg op de hoek van de straat (Walenburg) een insidertip voor een klein borreltje om de dag mee af te sluiten.

Great for an early train connection, or a late train arrival.
Pros:

Location is great for the train station. Room looks basic, but has all you need. We particularly liked the beds that had electric adjustment so you could sit in bed and watch TV. There was a bath (as well as a shower) which is a nice to have.

Cons:

Nothing wrong at all.
