Pros:

I booked the mountain view room (lower level and older room) but upon check-in, was given a renovated room on a higher level facing the riverfront. Location is superb - walking distance to tourist areas and cafes.

Cons:

Parking is narrow at the basement and limited spots. Once full, have to park opposite near the school. Shuttle service is provided but it's faster to walk across to retrieve the car.

Good location, comfortable room and value for money
Pros:

1. The location and the comfort.
2. Walking distance to Kinta Riverwalk and Padang Ipoh, can go for quick run in the morning and evening.
3. Walking distance to tourist attractions such as Plan B.

Pros:

The location is good, near local attractions such as the heritage trail, Kinta River front, and concubine lane.

Cons:

Our stay was marred by the poor service during the breakfast hours. We entered the dining hall by 7:30am but most of the food was already finished. The staff didn't replenish the empty plates and didn't clean up the tables. We paid for the breakfast that was included in the cost of our stay for 4 persons, but the food that was left was barely enough for two persons.
