My Ipoh trip.
Pros:

The location and the room ( bed and bathroom.)
The iron and ironing board.
The overall hospitalities.

Cons:

Only 1 pillow per guest allocated.
When requested for extra pillows...the first pillow is free but the 2nd pillow is chargeable! Should not be charged. And should allow 2 pillows per guest as standard

The towels are worned out.

Poor security. Never ever coming back again
Pros:

Nothing good as the bad experience more than negate anything good

Cons:

Staff and security. Male housekeeping staff opened our room door and walked right in without knocking or ringing the door bell while my wife was changing. When my wife shouted in surprise, the staff just mutter an apology and slowly backed out of the room while staring at my wife. We complained to the receptionist during checkout and she confirmed that based on our description of the male staff uniform, he is part of the hotel housekeeping crew. Receptionist then just apologize and try to change subject by asking us how was the condition of the room. Room door does not have a security latch and anyone with master key card can just walk right in.

Enjoyed our stay
Pros:

Great location for exploring Old Town. The guards on the lobby door are the most friendly and welcoming staff we encounter on our trip, they are a credit to the hotel. Beautiful view from the 12th floor dining area.

Cons:

Rooms weren’t sound proof. All night you hear people talking or dragging the chairs around in the room. They really need to add some scuff pads to the bottoms of the chairs to reduce noise disturbances.
