Great stay in an historical hotel
Pros:

It’s in the historical centre of asunción close to the Paraguay River coast, actually the hotel is an historical monument, you can walk everywhere, the room was ample and the bed comfortable they cleaned every day. The breakfast was good and the people that work there were amicable, corteus and respectful

Gran Hotel y excelente ubicación
Pros:

La ubicación es excelente para conocer el hermoso centro de Asunción, está a unos pasos del panteón, el palacio López, y parques del centro histórico. En la noche el sector tiene una movida interesante de bares, restaurantes y sitios para tomar algo y refrescarse.

El hotel es bello, es un edificio histórico, conserva elementos tradicionales y modernos, los cuartos bien equipados y cómodos.

Pros:

Equipe do hotel muito atenciosa. Café da manhã simples, mas bom. Localização excelente para quem quer circular pelo centro de Assunção, com restaurantes, pontos turísticos e comércio acessível à pé.

Cons:

O quarto que fiquei era muito grande e peguei dias de calor excessivo. O ar-condicionado não dava conta de refrigerar tão bem todo o quarto, mas somente porque era um quarto muito grande. Nada que tenha atrapalhado a minha estadia.

Wonderful hotel in a beautiful historic building. The staff were very kind and helpful. Our room was very large and we had a lovely big terace. Breakfast was fine and the location was good in old town but....

location was in the old town and area had a rundown feel to it. Nothing to complain about the hotel

Beautiful historic hotel. Good restaurant across the street.
Pros:

Beautiful historic hotel. The elevator was from a bygone era. Rooms were well sized and bathrooms had been brought to modern standards including great shower with near instant hot water and excellent water pressure.

Cons:

May be in so so area as front door remained locked at all times.
