Enjoyed our stay and would absolutely stay again if I’m ever in Dumbarton.
Pros:

The Staff were very friendly and helpful. They offered us advice about the local area and helped us arrange a taxi to the location of the party we were attending.
The Stoater breakfast in the morning was also excellent.

Cons:

Nothing to report.

Very Welcoming Place to Stay
Pros:

We chose this venue because they were hosting our close friends funeral Reception,. It was everything that we expected. Staff went above and beyond, food was excellent and we were made to feel very welcome.

A comfortable stay.
Pros:

Convenient location. Spacious rooms. Quiet. Plentiful parking.

Cons:

Breakfast could have been better.
Felt a little restricted. Tiny buffet with juices and cereal but no fruit or yoghurt and nothing like that available on the menu either. The items we ordered were ok.

Abbotsford weekend away.
Pros:

Stayed here a few times...it is still a great venue. Good food and the bar is open to locals alike.
The breakfast is exceptional value especially the signature French toast , but be aware its a big plate of food.I boxed some of mine ,delicious. Room immaculate and for a 3 star hotel above average and the staff are fabulous.

Cons:

Nothing to report!

Served us well for the occasion, value for money im not sure
Pros:

Very big carpark, well sign posted, great room/bathroom size plenty of room to move around without being under each other’s feet.

Cons:

Very dated (our twin room had a new bathroom, the family room didn’t!) if your above 5ft4 you struggle to fit under the shower head. Beds are very hard, felt like we slept on a wooden block. We were in their function room, they had locked us out of the hotel by 11pm and weren’t answering the doorbell to let us in - the key systems also very date and not hugely secure.
£210 for 2 rooms 1 night, no breakfast - given the dated property I’m not sure it’s the best value for money

Damp, tired building, very budget place
Pros:

Location was suitable for our journey

Cons:

Damp smelling toilet and corridor, radiator was leaking in the bathroom, I asked for a menu then 10 minutes later told no tables available from the very rude receptionist, spoke to the duty manager and he was cheeky and very unhelpful. I would not stay again and would not recommend to anyone else. The rooms require an upgrade as it is old tired and smelly.
