Lage etwas weit weg von der U-Bahn.
Der Pool und Fitnessbereich sollte seit MItte 2024 renoviert sein. Wri schreiben das Jahr 2025 Anfang September.

When my boyfriend and I arrived the room and bathroom were not cleaned at all. We complained at the reception and they gave us another room that was a bit better. The breakfast is not worth and the products lacks of quality. It’s not a good restaurant to western people. I don’t recommend this hotel and I felt regretted to trust only on the brand “holiday inn”

Arrived from train about 25 minutes walk from excit C and walk pass Saga plaza side and use foot bridges vs mental traffic
Still a hike esp luggage
Check in fine and Vicy had great English
Room faced Pagoda and we crashed after long travel
We couldn't figure out aircon
Next morning told there was none and hoped to.fix that day
Woke to find no bar fridge of coffee
Voiced concerns and advised a IHG hotel has none!!!!
We then sorted a few more issues out and moved room and a few concessions offered and staff so lovely
Only additional let downs were pool and gym closed since 2024 appeared to be lease busines
Not advised in booking or advertising
Bed huge and little old cpuld feel springs

Smoke stench on ground floor [horrible toilets]

So embrace local fair
Tim who worked in here was excellent and an asset to the hotel

Stayed in a deluxe room booked through an agent. Large hotel, big rooms.

Each room has tea and coffee making facilities, shampoo, shower gel and conditioner in dispensable bottles attached to the wall, also moisturiser lotion next to sink. Also comes with complimentary tooth brush, tooth paste the usual stuff, slippers and robes, iron and ironing board.

Cons: the window in our room did not close properly so could be noisy for others, think it was 1620. Unfortunately the temperature is fixed in the rooms so you cannot switch the aircon on or have it lower and so we kept our windows open. luckily it wasn’t extremely hot and we could bear it but the other room we had with the children needed to request a room fan.

Breakfast - was good, varied chinese and Western - would say more catered for Chinese taste but still good! still has fried eggs, bacon and baked beans!!

staff are friendly and welcoming.

Location is close to a supermarket about 5 mins around the corner, there is also a good bbq restaurant there too, walk about 15 mins more and there are tons of eateries close by. We were about 45 mins from high speed main station and about 1 hour to the airport.

We enjoyed our 3 nights stay at the Holiday Inn Xian Big Goose Pagoda. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The daily breakfast had a variety of western and local cuisine. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately, one of our 4 room had a choked toilet. The staff did all they can to cleaned up but the issue had not been resolved during our 3 nights stay.

Excelente hotel

Hotel is in a good location just half hour walk from the Big Goose Pagoda. It's about a 45min drive from Xi'an North Train Station. Traffic can make this longer as you have to drive from north straight through the city to the south.

On check in the staff didn't seem to speak English so my guide helped me sort my room. I did ask for a quiet room and was put on the 7th floor away from the lifts. I was on a relatively low floor though so there was a lot of street noise, mainly from screaming kids and beeping horns until later in the evening. The floor also absolutely stank of cigarettes, luckily it didn't get into the room I was in or I'd have had to have asked to move.

The room was okay, big comfy bed, powerful shower, basic amenities, but in need of a refurb. No idea on the WiFi because it didn't work on my international devices. There was tea and coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board, hair dryer and it looks like they also offer a laundry service. The room doesn't have any USB charger sockets but luckily I had an international adapter with me so not a problem.

There was a decent looking fitness centre on the 6th floor but when I tried to use this it was heaving with people, it looked like it was used by a lot of locals. Literally everything was being used so I walked straight out and didn't get to train. I noticed they also have a swimming pool on the basement floor, I didn't go to this but when walking past the hotel outside indefinitely smelt it. Overwhelming smell of clorine.

The breakfast was fine, lots of choice both Chinese and Western options. The restaurant staff were very nice although again they had very limited English. My Chinese is non existent though so this is by no means a complaint.

All in all a good choice in a great location, it just needs a refurb.

Pleasant hotel situated well for city centre activities. Rooms pleasant and spacious. Food was good with large variety.
Used by groups of tourists.
Regular ‘holiday Inn’ type hotel. Not outstanding but very acceptable.

One major problem: Internet service was the worst of all hotels.

The outside does not prepare you for the impressive lobby. Staff were friendly and attentive. Breakfast was good. Room was clean. Glass partition from room to bathroom is strange but a modesty curtain is available. Enjoyable stay at this well located hotel.

We stayed 3 nights as part of a tour, it was raining all 3 days, but room in the hotel had an umbrella that we could use. Hotel is in a commercial complex, lobby is very good, Breakfast is very good with lot of variety but with one coffee machine so to get your coffee there is que and takes about 10 to 30 minutes depending on guests. Housekeeping was average forgot towels, coffee, tea had to call. Room small with a glass partiton between the bathroom and room with a curtain. Resataurants in the building are expensive. We ate once in the hotel restaurant it was quite reasobable. To get a good reasonable restaurant have to walk 2 miles left of the hotel when you approach the junction to the right and left there are lots of restaurants. Metro station is quite a walk as well.

대안탑, 역사박물관과 가까운 거리에 위치하여 주변 관광 접근성이 용이하였고, 호텔이 깨끗하고 편안하였으며, 직원들의 친절함과 서비스도 좋았습니다.

Hotel was great
Breakfast had a good variety and staff was really helpful the only problem was the location not really a walking area
Wish it were closer to shops and restaurants couldn’t do much in the afternoon

로비가 5층에 있어 다소 불편하고 층마다 복도에서 담배냄새가 좀 많이 남. 심지어 묶었던 방은 금연방인데 전 숙박객이 방에서 담배를 폈었는지 들어갔을 때 담배냄새가 좀 심하게 났음.

The hotel building surprises you inside. The fassade does not give a hint to the greatness of the Lobby area. Rooms are of a good size and bathroom clean and what it shall be for. Breakfast complies with Standards of the Hotel class. Within the vicinity of the Hotels you find Banks Restaurants and convinient stores.

Decent location. A short 15 minutes walk to Big Goose Pagoda. Supermarket located around 5 minutes walk away. City center is 20-30 minutes car ride away.

I have been planning for years to visit the Terra Cotta Warriors, but there is always something to prevent - but not this year. In between speaking at a conference, I had a great couple nights at this Holiday Inn which was spacious, clean, great staff, and super food. If you plan to visit in Xian -- make this Holiday Inn your first choice.

After a disappointing stay in Chendu we came here and were pleasantly surprised by a nice clean and modern hotel. Large rooms with a good bathroom.
We liked this hotel very much. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was reasonable for westerners.
