Die Lage ist ideal, man geht in allenfalls zehn Minuten bequem zum Weißen Haus und ist dementsprechend allen weiteren Sehenswürdigkeiten nahe. Eine U-Bahn-Station ist einen Block entfernt. Das - auf für solche Hotels üblichem Niveau ausgestatte - Zimmer hatte schönen Ausblick und war zugleich ruhig. Sehr freundliches Personal. Restaurant zum Frühstück richtig gut, Qualität bei Mittag-/Abendessen eher Durchschnitt.
Die Heizung bläst einigermaßen laut.

Excellent hotel and location!
We liked the look of the hotel but had a problem and reported it but nothing was done. 1st night - AC unit was extremely loud all night - so we didn't get any sleep that night. Reported it the next day but no response from anyone. It continued to make low noises for the next 4 days. So we got very little sleep. Housekeeper did not leave us water or empty or trash or clean coffee maker. Left a note for housekeeper to leave water - she/he moved the note but didn't leave us any. Called down to concierge to have water delivered and our trash removed. Housekeeper came with water but knew nothing about the trash collection. Just really poor service. No one seemed to care. We got very little sleep in your very noisy room. I cannot recommend your hotel to anyone.

My room was not only small but also clearly in need of some serious cleaning. The bathroom had a noticeable layer of dust that had settled on the surfaces. The sink top showed several stains, hinting at previous spills that hadn’t been cleaned up properly. And to top it off, there was even a bit of hair in the coffee maker, adding to the overall sense of neglect in the room.I will not go back to this hotel nor will I recommend it.
Beautiful historic old hotel in a prime downtown location. With metro right across the street, everything was just a few minutes away.
