It provided a place for us to sleep.
Pros:

The room size was adequate. For being old it seemed to be kept up

Cons:

All the rooms are on the second floor. It does not say that on the website. In fact, the website seemed to glorify the place more than it should. The night clerk was working multiple jobs and he did his best for us, but when he said to make sure to lock our vehicle for the night - that gave us some concern.

Pros:

The Horizon Inn is in need of some serious repairs and updating. It was clean but given the age of the building, the furniture, the weedy and gravelly grounds, gaps in the curtains and door (light comes through) it gives a first impression that it’s dirty and unsafe. Musty smell walking into the room. The toilet had a leak and ran (to fill the tank) every 10-20 min all night long!!

The restaurant food was a nice surprise. We got $20 coupons for dinner and free breakfast. The building looks rough on the outside but it was better and clean inside. The food was delicious. Service was great.

Nice soft sheets
Pros:

The best thing about my stay was the sheets! They were really soft. Unfortunately their restaurant was closed and there was only a bag up lunch from the reception. Otherwise this hotel does the trick if you just need somewhere to lay your head for the night.
