Great location in the heart of Stow. Lovely breakfast.
Bar staff not friendly. I have stayed here quite a few times and the service at night is not as good as the morning service. NEEDS LOOKING AT!
We stayed for 3 nights in a "cosy" room, with no wardrobe and only two small drawers each for our belongings. The TV was near impossible because previous guests had entered their own details, presumably to watch films, and this made it impossible for us to find major channels like BBC 1, 2 and 4. Could not previous enteries have been removed before our arrival?
See above.
Central location in Stow on the Wold. Food was good and nice courtyard garden.
Never anyone at reception. When I found someone in the bar I was told I couldn’t check in. He seemed very unhappy and very non friendly. Not a good first point of contact. When I asked if I could leave my bags was told no and then as I was deciding what to do was told could leave near room. What I didn’t realise if they left my bags in the corridor outside my room where anyone could have taken them. Very noisy.
Our overall stay at your “ Hotel “ was “ Excellent “ and all of the Staff were exceptional and especially “ Scott “ who was “ Excellent “ in every sense of the word.

Beautiful old pub, friendly staff. Rooms were nice and quite spacious, good tea and coffee making options available.
found it to be quite expensive compared to other places however this is an expensive area
The space was really nice and liked the bed and the separate bath and shower space. Found the room spacious and clean. Great location in Stow in the Wold, centre of the main streets and it had free parking. The restaurant was really good too.
It was quite hot in the room and the small fan didn’t really do much at night. We were staying in the lower level room close to the outside beer garden. It was only Saturday night they play live music or music until 11pm and then it stops. Most nights it was quiet. The main issue we had was they keep the outdoor nights outside the rooms on and some in the beer garden so if they have curtains it still shines through at night. I would say they can’t do much about the heat, but the lights dimmed at night would be great for the ground floor rooms.
