My room had lovely facilities.

I would like to stay there again

Good and convenient place to stay for our business purposes. Lack of housekeeping was disappointing.

The bin in the bathroom had not been emptied.

There was a problem at check-in as the fact that I had already paid for my accommodation was not showing on my record and the last four digits provided as my credit card weren't mine. However, I had the receipt and the receptionist had no issue with accepting that the room had, indeed, been paid for.

The room was clean and extremely quiet - I didn't hear any noise from other rooms or from outside. The bed was very comfortable and there was excellent TV reception. As well as the usual tea and coffee, there were also biscuits. However, if you need a teaspoon, take your own - only wooden stirrers are provided.

My only complaint about the accommodation itself was in the bathroom - the height of the wash basin is, frankly, uncomfortable if you are my height (163 cm). Having to hold your hands up to shoulder height in order to wash them is not ideal.

Also be aware that there is no in-room safe.

The hotel is very convenient to both the station and the Art House.

Close to the race track

It was a comfortable stay, quick working trip. The hotel had everything needed good food and comfortable room. I would stay again.

Unfortunately we had a serious incident of a man entering our room after 12.30am.
Woken to light coming in our room the man soon left thankfully. I wedged a ironing board under the door handle along with a rubbish bin. There is no 24 hour reception. We did not sleep well after this incident. Rang hotel next day, they were helpful and got back to me after viewing the CCTV footage to confirm a man entered our room. Apparently confused going back to his own room. Have been given a full refund. Concerned how did another key card work on our door? We had moved rooms as the first had not been cleaned properly.
We have not been given a honest answer by the hotel to how our room was accessed by someone else! Have stayed several times before and now reluctant to ever stay again. I have since felt anxiety and fear. Having to feel I had to block the door with an ironing board and bin, this in after thought was dangerous! Access to get out of our room if a fire or medical assistance to get in for emergency.

clean spacious rooms with easy access to restaurants and racetrack

Could hear other people talking and arguing till 3:30am. Was expecting it to be much quieter but the property was beautiful.

Highly recommend this hotel, spacious and clean with a great comfy bed. Beautiful ambiance with great vibe.

Nice. Modern, comfortable, nice bed and amenities. Easy parking. Great food. Nice and clean except the carpet needed a good vaccuum.

It's acceptable for a quick overnight stop-over

Love this Motel , friendly staff ,great room . Stayed here for a few months for work . Definitely has a ghost living there as my TV would turn on during the night but the weirdest thing l saw was there was a plastic bag hanging on the maid cart with no maid to be seen. The bag was just swinging side to side without loosing momentum. I watched it for a few minutes and it would just keep swinging. I walked over to it to check if it was in a wind pocket from somewhere but no wind. The strangest thing lve ever seen. But great motel very comfortable good for sleeping.

PLEASE stay away from this place!!! Absolutely applauding how we have been treated! We booked a private room for my mother’s wake. She always liked the golf club which is why my father chose it. A week after booking, catering and all, we were told 2 days before that it has been double booked - it took them a week to find out!!?? Seems to me that the other group is larger and will be there all day we would only have been there for a couple of hours, therefore they will get more money out of the others. Clearly this is completely unreasonable!! No consideration given to my father and the issues it caused. We were offered something else which was not acceptable. We are already heartbroken and then this?? Be careful of this place clearly money is more important than people.

Great value and comfy bed

First off arrived checked it all was fine - had an accessible room as it was the only one available upon booking which is fine as i am disabled anyway.
Had unloaded car entred room for it to be knocking us out with the smell of bleach the moment we got in the room, no ventilation , no windows opened, instant headache. We had to wash down the tiles in the bathroom. To make the smell dissipate as it was shocking. Told the manager he went to put us in another room only it was a third of the size and not suitable at all. So we stayed where we were.
The room looks to be a part of an old hospital section as the heavy doors to the bathroom don’t lock as there isn’t any. It creaks cause of the heaviness of the door. Had no phone to contact reception desk, Also after asking for housekeeping to come in every two days we had it once only. Toilet seat was loose as, tiles & grout had mould in them, the shellve was useless as it was broken, shampoo, body wash and conditioner were a third full and watery. Tv was loose on wall. Felt like towels were used and not washed properly as they had stains on them. Pilliows sucked as no support in them which made for my head neck and back pain worse.
Won’t be back in a hurry.
Ps staff are wonderful to deal with just shame about the housekeeping and room condition lets everything else down.

The reviews online gave us hope that this place was very good. The room was quite small and the shower cubicle was small and didn't shut properly so it leaked all over the floor.
But the biggest issue was that the noise from the neighboring rooms was constant, the neighbors weren't being loud the walls were so thin we could hear every conversation and step.
The food was quite good and the staff were very nice, but we wont be staying again as the initial booking messed up on the platform and the change cost us extra, we could have stayed in a resort nearly for the price.
