Die Anlage des ehemaligen Erziehungsdorfs ist außergewöhnlich und interessant.
Ebenso das Hotel im ehemaligen Krankenhaus.
Das Zimmer war sausauber und ordentlich.
Freundliches Personal.
Es ist ein idealer Standort für Fahrradtouren und Ausflüge nach Gronig, Leuwarden, ....

Intressant, annorlunda, ekovänligt hotell med mycket historia. Vi bodde i en stor våning som varit sjukhus sedan 1830. Mycket trevligt och annorlunda.

Cons:

Menyn på restaurangen saknade engelsk översättning och personalen hade svårt förklara rätterna på engelska. En chansning men med gott resultat.

The best stay around Assen

This hotel is a real gem that makes you travel into the past while being modern at the same time. It clearly is one of the most interesting stays in the region. The hotel's restaurant proposes gastronomical dishes created using local products that are of outstanding quality for a reasonable price. When staying at this hotel there is no question that the dinner will be taken at its restaurant. The breakfast is generous and the food is of high quality. The staff is friendly and helpful, makes one feel very welcome. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, everything there for a quality stay.

Cons:

The shower-head of the bathtub had a clogged up filter that reduced too much the flow, really a minor detail.
