Location, size of room, hot water, restaurants nearby, coffee/tea/kettle, bed made daily, AC. If you're trying to save money you might be able to overlook the negatives.
Black mold all over the bathroom tiles (room 10), hairs on the bed sheets, garbage was full but not emptied, clean cups not given after 2 days, toilet paper was empty. The garbage, TP, and cups were addressed not when I had the sign on my door for them to be cleaned, but only later when I asked hotel staff. Some hallways and front desk noise (talking, laughing, conversations) at super early hours. My room was closest to the front desk.
Great location and responsive staff.
Very dirty - sheets had dirt and hairs and looked like they had not been changed, just made up to look neat. The bath was scummy and my husband scrubbed it with a hotel toothbrush to reveal the white surface beneath. There was dust and what appeared to be mouse droppings in the corners of the room as if it has not been vacuumed for a while.
However, when we pointed this out to management, they changed our sheets and sent someone to clean the bath. I forgot to mention the floor so that remained dirty.

La ubicació és excel·lent, envoltada de restaurants, mercats i molt ben comunicada amb el transport públic. El personal va ser molt amable, atent i disposat a ajudar-nos en tot moment.
L'habitació no oferia una bona relació qualitat-preu. El llit no era gaire còmode, el bany no estava prou net i se sentia molt soroll dels altres hostes al passadís, especialment a la nit, fet que dificultava descansar.
It’s the best value!! Super super central, very friendly staff - comfortable bed - in the very heart of Singapore! I stay either there or at the 81 Osaka on stop overs, and always live it!
I mean - it’s not a big room, etc - but for the price and location it’s great!

The AC in our room wasn't working, so it was uncomfortablely hot in the room.

Le condizioni igieniche lasciano a desiderare e nel bagno è presente un soffione appeso al muro. Per farsi la ‘doccia’ allaghi completamente la stanza wc. Ultima cosa, le finestre non si possono aprire e con il caldo e l’umidità di Singapore nella stanza manca l’ossigeno dopo pochi minuti figurarsi, una notte intera!
It was in the absolute best neighbourhood, with great MRT access.
We got a free room upgrade. There was a lot of space and we enjoyed a nice balcony. I would definitely stay again.
Not enough blankets in room and aircon ponted at bed. Bed was not the most comfortable.
Felt safe, Great location, close to restaurants, cafés, and the temple. Convenient 24-hour reception. Tony at reception was friendly and helpful, assisting with our luggage and early check-in. The filtered drinking water from the bathroom tap was a great bonus.
