Pros:

The hotel looks great, the breakfast was perfect and catered to both my vegan diet and my 5 year olds (very picky) vegetarian diet

Cons:

We ordered room service, which was great, but we tried to call back to order dessert and got messed around for over an hour. Our calls were cut out, we were told we would be called back and that didnt happen, and reception hung up on me a couple of times when I tried to be put through.
We also werent informed that the (identical) cards were for different purposes, so we got locked out as I took the wrong card with me, and when I tried to call reception to say we were locked out, nobody answered.
I was also quite surprised by the lack of facilities in the room- no hairdryer, just 2 cans of water for the two of us.

Pros:

Met a friend for lunch in the restaurant - at first, the service was too attentive - we were approached 4 times in about 10 minutes to place our order. After the order was placed, the reverse occurred - it was impossible to find anyone to assist. The food was below average (2 x fishfinger sandwiches, cold). Afterwards, we moved to sit in the bar. We asked a member of staff if we could order tea/coffee, they said no problem. We never saw them again. Numerous staff we coming and going but there was no offer of teas/coffee and getting the bill from 2 unoccupied members of staff was a herculean task. As an aside, the toilets were a mess. If ever there was a place to 'dine and ditch', this would have been it. Sadly, I paid £25 for 2 sandwiches, most of which ended up in the bin.

Pros:

Location worked for us. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Wasn't to busy. Room was comfortable and clean.

Cons:

Wallpaper on bedroom was peeling off. Room was a bit dusty. Room was not cleaned during our stay. So had pizza boxes and dirty cups in our room for the whole 4 day stay

Pros:

Breakfast was the worse!! Got a refund. Location fine. Construction zone without warning. Freezing cold promised heated tool 2 days to get one, the 2nd one never came. Too much to tell. Never received the incentives hold money back it’s been a few weeks now

Cons:

The entire stay. Only liked the wet area
