We have been here several times and have always enjoyed it. This time we went into your new vegetable garden and met the lovely gardener, I believe her name was Melissa. She was a complete pleasure to speak with. Very informative and very sweet. We spend some time in the garden and then went into and bought a bag of vegetables. Love that everything is organic too! This just added such pleasure to out visit.
I wish the pools were heated. Lol
It was very nice looking but there were bugs.
Loved the place but there was a brown flying roach in the hallway (we killed it). We had rented two rooms. There was what appeared to be a carpet beetle in one of the beds (also killed that) but our son & his wife got no sleep because of it and we were very unsetttled all night about the roach in the hallway just a few doors down from our room.
The coffee pot was dirty and had tiny spectacles in it when I added the water for coffee
Clean, good location
Everything is right there.
pet hair and smell
Loved it
While the hotel itself was beautiful and clean, it was not worth 350 a night plus a $30 a night resort fee. Have to walk across street to winery to get food/ drink- nothing in the actual hotel itself. Pool area was clean but not impressive with its cheap plastic tables. Certainly no "resort."
The property was very nice but for the price i paid I was expecting a better and bigger pool.the water was cloudy and the pool very small, i did not find the bar or maybe it didnt have none and reception is really bad on everyones phone, i felt like i was back 20 yrs ago
Arrived for a wedding to find we had no:
Closet in the room or any comparable rack to hang out clothes at all anywhere
Had to ask housekeeping where the iron was to get ready for the wedding. It was in a drawer in the bathroom. An iron was provided with no ironing board.
So, when I should ve been getting ready, I was at the front desk asking for another room. I was told there was no space a d provided with a board and flimsy clothing rack.
There was no shelf or hooks in the bathroom for towels and no soap dish in the standing shower. SUPER WEIRD and inconvenient. Who wants to keep bending down for soap?
Not to mention the noise 1-2 am in the morning from the room next door.
You would think an establishment of this magnitude would at least provide these basic amenities and a quiet environment easily accessed at Super 8, Days and Holiday Inns, and other such hotels.
For the over $200 paid, this stay and the lack of basic accommodations was ridiculous.
They host weddings, their guests, and parties regularly. They know everyone is going to need an ironing board and a place to hang clothes, etc
Would never stay here again or perhaps I can simply avoid Rm 314.
Ridiculous
Romantic, 2 pools, farm to table food
Mosquitoes plural in the room for the first time ever. We are foodies but the coffee, both in the hotel lobby and cafe, leaves a lot to be desired. This would be a deal breaker if we were planning a wedding there!
