清潔で過ごしやすかった。1階ではwifiがつながりにくい事だけが残念。総合的にいいゲストハウスです。

Het hotel is moeilijk te vinden, het licht in een straatje waar je deze kwaliteit niet verwacht zeker niet voor deze prijs. Het kan wat betreft kamers met de top hotels zelfs concurreren, het ontbijt is eenvoudig maar met liefde bereid. Wat betreft het strand, dat is maar een paar minuutjes lopen, maar deze wordt niet goed schoon gehouden.

I arrived at 2 am. The host pointed the room at me and went back to sleep, I didn't even got the chance to ask for the WIFI. The room was dirty and sheets obvious from the guests before. There was no TV nor hot water. În the morning they moved me at the first floor where hot water was available. Upstairs the WIFI is not working. They didn't clean the room not even once în 8 days, I didn't receive the free bottles of water that were included, but în the end they charged me 800 rupies for 4 coffes that I had and I could see that they searched în my suitcase.So be carefull, lock your bags!!! I do not recommend these place. Is a bad location, very dirty street and very noisy with a lot of crows.

空港から近くてこじんまりとした清潔感のあるお部屋。ベッドには蚊帳が付いていたのですが念の為か殺虫スプレーも渡されました。シャワーは熱いお湯ではなくてぬるい水。隣が自宅兼ソウルフード店なのでカラスが寄って来る

We highly recommend Friends Guesthouse in Negombo. The staff were excellent, kind, and accommodating. The rooms were lovely, clean, and well-appointed. It is only a short walk to the beach through a real Sri Lankan neighbourhood. The beach itself was not the greatest. There are restaurants and shops nearby and the airport is a reasonable drive away. The Sri Lankans are the most sincerely kind and friendly people I have ever met in my travels and this was also reflected in the Guesthouse.

Cette guesthouse est l'exemple parfait qu'une jolie chambre ne fait pas tout ! A notre arrivée, il a fallut 20 minutes de négociations pour obtenir enfin la chambre réservée. Nous avions choisi une chambre à l'étage avec climatisation et balcon (env. 25$) or elle nous donne une chambre au rez sans clim en nous disant que le prix que nous avons payé correspond à cette chambre là, que si nous voulons la clim il faut payer 10$ de plus la nuit, ce que nous refusons. Finalement on lâchera 2000 Rs de plus pour obtenir la chambre réservée et déjà payée! En 4 jours pas de service de chambre (on l'a pourtant demandé au milieu de notre séjour mais rien a été fait). On a plus l'impression que le personnel est payé pour arrêter les clim plutôt que pour servir les clients. Nous avions la chambre 1, avec porte vitrée, qui bénéficie du soleil de l'après-midi...quand il fait 35* je vous laisse imaginer la fournaise à l'intérieur de la chambre et la climatisation n'est absolument pas efficace. En résumé jolie chambre mais pour le reste nous avons été très déçus!

Nettes Homestay, nur einige Meter vom Strand entfernt. Zum Frühstück gibt Toast, Butter, Marmelade, Ei, Tee und frischen Saft. Die Betreiber sind sehr, sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

This was the cheapest room on Expedia so we weren't expecting much when we arrived. The location of the guesthouse is just off the main strip but up a more residential street. ( don't let this put you off). Friend guesthouse is a wee surprise jem. The building is new, rooms clean and modern, with great aircon. Wifi was good - not available in the room but could get a reception sitting out on our balcony. The free breakfast was excellent. They would have it ready for you whatever time you requested and would serve it out on the balcony- a lovely touch!
A few hiccups when checking in/signing out but this was due to communication issues and it being a new establishment.
Negombo isn't the nicest of beaches ( head south for that) but being 20mins away from the airport we used this as an alternative to Colombo. Overall, a great stay for an excellent price. I would totally recommend it.
