Lovely setting
Pros:

The spa area is gorgeous with a lovely relaxing atmosphere. The outside area has lovely views. My treatment with Sophie was amazing and she was very good at her job.
The disappointing part of our experience was the Pokey Bowl we had for lunch. The salmon was freezing and the rice was so moist that it was inedible. It was a shame that this spoiled the experience

Excellent birthday pressie
Pros:

I purchased this gift for my mum. It is not the forst time we have ised the facilities, but first time getting a treatment. The staff are very welcoming and pleasant and the place looks and smells amazing. My mum got tje £50 head, neck, shoulders massage and we were not expecting her being allowed to ourchase items up to the value of the massage. Overall excellent experience and I am already sharing it with my friends and family.

The Forgetful Chef
Pros:

As a coeliac I thought I'd be fairly safe here ordering the sea bass, king prawn & curried lentils as a main course although when it arrived it was plain that there was something missing on the plate.
As a coeliac I'm used to items being omitted due to wheat or cross contamination and we 'munched on' awaiting a server asking us about the meal..which never happened - finally we caught the bar manager and enquired about the missing king prawn(s) on the plate. Apparently the chef 'forgot' to include them. Missing a main ingredient of the dish it just became fish and lentils which was not appetising, nor worth £21...we were duly offered free coffee which we accepted and went on our way.
We paid using a gift card I had received at work so we suffered no financial detriment for the missing food/forgetful chef but I don't think we'll go back in case it happens again.....

Overnight spa trip
Pros:

If you are looking to completely unplug, recharge, and be pampered within an inch of your life, look no further. My recent overnight stay was nothing short of extraordinary—a five-star experience from the moment we arrived until the reluctant moment we had to check out.
The ambient scent, gentle acoustic music, and warm welcome from the reception team set the tone for a completely seamless retreat.
Speaking of the accommodations, our room was an absolute haven. Spacious, impeccably clean, and lovely view of the sea.
The thermal suite and facilities are so relaxing. Everything is immaculately maintained, and truely relaxing.
We also got the high tea and it was the best high I have had in a long time. Just the perfect amount.
The real standout of the trip, however, was the treatments. I opted for a facial and massage, and it was hands down the best massage I have ever had. The therapist was exceptionally skilled, taking the time to ask about my preferences and targeting every single knot of tension in my shoulders. I left the treatment room feeling like jelly in the best possible way.
To top it all off, the food, dinner and breakfast was amazing.
An overnight spa trip can often feel too short, but the level of care and detail left us feeling as if we’d been away for a week. We are already planning our return visit.

Day spa
Pros:

A relaxing coastal spa which has been so well thought in the planning, with large picture windows overlooking the ocean over to Arran and access to the sea, for a walk or dip. All areas were very clean, comfortable and conducive to a relaxing day.

My only negative was that we had to share a lounger in the relaxing room with music, perhaps timings could be better to allow everyone to experience this immersive relaxation.

Afternoon tea was tasty, well presented and warm.

Gorgeous spa and treatments.
Pros:

The spa and treatments were amazing. The massage was the best I have had in years. The new spa is gorgeous and relaxation area so peaceful!
The only downside was lunch, although it was a poke bowl the rice was like it had been in a freezer and the chicken looked like it was from a cooked chicken packet. The kitchen had also ran out of two/four options of dressings.

Si Spa Day at the Waterside Hotel
Pros:

The spa facilities at the Waterside Hotel in West Kilbride were of a very high standard and I loved the outdoor spa pool overlooking the sea and Arran! The Spa restaurant is a gorgeous, cosy place to enjoy your food.
The Therapist was lovely and she provided a fantastic 40 minute deep tissue massage which I really needed and enjoyed.
I had the Tranquil Tuesday Package which is great value and ideal for those on a budget or who may be new to a Spa experience, though there is a choice to upgrade to 55 minutes for a small additional fee.
I thoroughly enjoyed my Spa experience there and will definitely be back!

Overall pretty good.
Pros:

Proximity to the beach, modern looking and a good decorative theme. Enjoyed that it is pet friendly.

Cons:

Noise from the road, the side of the bath was too high and the hot water was off first night so cold showers in the morning!! Staff did sort it out next day.

Nice location, friendly staff, decent breakfast but expensive room rate
Pros:

Lovely room with a sea view

Cons:

We were told to take the lift to the first floor for our room. But when we went round that floor we had to go down several stairs with a buggy to get to the room. As there was no other way to get to the room. Cold water in the shower in the morning. Fire alarm went off early in the morning and woke us up. The price of the room was pretty high. We saved about £50 booking on Booking.com but it was still more than £250 for the night.

Absolute bliss, again!
Pros:

MY 2nd time at Si Spa and it was even more sublime! I made full use of the pool and saunas plus we ventured down to the beach and enjoyed a cold water swim. My facial was amazing and my skin was radiant afterwards. Our afternoon tea was devoured with our coffees looking out across to Arran. It's such a fabulous setting and all the staff are attentive and friendly. I'll most definitely be back.

Two night spa break for 3
Pros:

Location, overlooking Arran, is beautiful. Deluxe sea view rooms with patio on ground level or window doors on first floor are lovely. Spacious, with table and chairs positioned to enjoy the amazing views. Si Spa outside space, in this warm sunny weather, was great, but small so best enjoyed at a quiet time. Lovely big sauna with huge picture window. Thumbs up on spa treatments and relaxation areas. Easy access to the beach immediately in front of the hotel. Great for a cold dip. Beach clean, water clear. All staff encountered were helpful and friendly.

Cons:

Evening meal and breakfast disappointing. Good choice at breakfast, but hot buffet not hot enough. Evening meal was overpriced and mediocre at best. Garden area was looking a little unloved. No canopies, outdoor heaters, planting etc to create ambience. But again, fantastic sea/Arran views. Use of spa thermal area an add on and limited to one hour. There were 3 of us, no single rooms or rooms to accommodate 3, so paying almost the same for second room single occupancy made it more expensive.

Very disappointed.
Pros:

Popped in for lunch today. Last visited and enjoyed a few years ago. Ordered a sandwich but very disappointed at the quality for the price. Cheap bread, little salad and about 5 crisps. It cost £10...very poor. Also ordered lentil soup which was tasty but small portion and cheap white roll. We would have ordered coffee etc but left and went to W K for lovely cake and coffee. Had tp ask twice for water and coffee befor it arrived. Lovely spot but poor service and mediocre food. Avoid until it improves.

Bad room
Pros:

Booked overnight stay at waterside hotel in a room with countryside views but got room 410 with all windows blocked with obscure glass. Also large wooden tv box at foot of bed was quite overwhelming
Complained to reception and asked for change of room but none available.
The room ruined the overnight stay and wouldn’t recommend especially if you book room 410!

Bad room 410
Pros:

Booked a room with countryside views and were given room 410 which has obscure glass on every window so no views whatsoever also had a large overwhelming wooden structure which housed the TV at bottom of bed.
Complained to staff but no joy
Won’t be back
