Pros:

The room was small, as expected. It was generally clean but the charge port device on the desk was filthy and sticky (see photo). Breakfast was included in the rate but selections were very limited - much less than the free hotel breakfasts I am accustomed to. Internet service was a bit of a challenge to connect using my VPN. Next time I will try the Hampton.

Wouldn’t stay at this subset of Marriott again.
Cons:

Overall quirky place. Maybe that’s the theme, but somewhat inconvenient- elevator requiring room key, not enough lighting in the room, only seating was the bed.

Aloft Downtown Greenville
Pros:

The Aloft location is excellent for exploring downtown Greenville. It is close to Main Street. It has a great vibe. Rooms are clean and well appointed. The staff was very friendly. Unfortunately we didn't take advantage of the bar, lounge and balcony area since we were busy exploring down town.

Great customer service!
Pros:

Probably one of the friendliest staff members I have met in hotel service in a long while. I travel a lot for work and I’ve never felt more cared about than the crew that was working this past weekend. The only improvement would be better lit bathrooms. It’s hard to get ready in such a dim bathroom. But the staff was outstanding!

great location and great staff! overall, it was a great place to stay for a short trip.
Pros:

the location was amazing. very walkable to restaurants, bars, and entertainment. we ate at the bar downstairs and our bartender provided fantastic service. the food was decent.they also had a complimentary pool table by the bar!

Cons:

the drinks were pricey and the pool closed at 9pm. the walls were also very thin. my two friends and i were just all talking and cutting up & we got a noise complaint. we weren’t even playing music.
