I was very thankful for the staff at the Stanyan Park Hotel. They did a great job making the experience enjoyable, and warm. The nightly wine hour was really lovely, and I was thankful for such a great gathering space. Also, loved the location of this hotel- so easy to get around. Thank you!

The room has no view. Bathroom window has no blind.

Not into Old historic places, no parking, I'm 82, disabled and not into waling half a block. I found a disabled parking spot on the street and left it there all night, thankfully no problems

The best feature about this hotel was the free wine and the breakfast in the morning. It was just an excellent experience overall.
The only thing I didn’t like is having to pay for parking and putting my car somewhere different
Stayed here because it was close to UCSF hospital, my sister had surgery and I was able to go back and forth easy. The room was clean and staff very friendly.

The location is amazing - right across the street from Golden Gate Park, and there are lot of good dining options within walking distance of the hotel. The staff was great, and very helpful - and the facility, while dated, was well maintained.
There are also a number of nice amenities - cookies at check-in, wine reception every afternoon, copies of the NY Times in the morning.
The rooms are clean, but the furniture is dated. There was only a bedside table and lamp on one side of the bed, The chair at the desk needs to be reupholstered. And the breakfast is definitely in need of an upgrade.
Close to Ucsf hospital where I was having my surgery
There was no microwave in the room. The room seemed quite small with the queen bed.
Great location and very well-kept property. Efficiently staff. Reasonably priced parking lot across the street. Proximity to Golden Gate Park.
Street-facing rooms can be a little noisy, but closing the windows pretty much eliminates that problem.
The location was perfect for our need to be close to UCSF Transplant Center. We were able to walk back and forth daily and found a Whole Foods Market and laundromat within 2 blocks. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly and the breakfast had a great variety of items each morning.
