Very old hotel that could use an update
Pros:

The complementary breakfast and snacks were nice

Cons:

The rooms are old and the furniture and bathroom could use an update. There were two beds in my bedroom but both too narrow. The room lighting and ventilation were not good. It was an overall decent but rather depressive stay

Nice Victorian hotel centrally located near height ashbury and UCSF medical center.
Pros:

Love the complimentary wine and snack bar and the delicious breakfast offerings in the morning! Very comfortable accomodations! Would love to stay again! It was a very unusual hot day in SF and I called front desk and he brought me a fan in less than 5 minutes. Very nice staff!

The rooms are cozy and clean. Location is great across from GGP and close to the geo center of SF.
Pros:

The front desk person went above any beyond, helping us when we arrived, the complimentary breakfast was a nice bonus.

A delightful small hotel
Pros:

My partner & I tried to stay at this historic boutique hotel in the past, but it may have been under renovation at that time. This time I was traveling alone, and I could not have been more pleased with my room, with the amenities, with the staff, etc. The hotel even offers a little happy hour in the early evening, in their very pretty bar/parlour, and also puts on a nice breakfast in the morning. (Strong coffee!)

It is in a great neighborhood, where my room looked right out at Golden Gate Park. It is an easy walk to cafés, the famous Haight St. shopping area, to the Muni for the ball park, etc. etc.

I found it to be a lovely place and would go back eagerly anytime.

Such a great trip, and this hotel made it even better.
Pros:

I was very thankful for the staff at the Stanyan Park Hotel. They did a great job making the experience enjoyable, and warm. The nightly wine hour was really lovely, and I was thankful for such a great gathering space. Also, loved the location of this hotel- so easy to get around. Thank you!

Pros:

clean, staff great and helpful I chose it because it was close to UCSF where I had an appointment

Cons:

Not into Old historic places, no parking, I'm 82, disabled and not into waling half a block. I found a disabled parking spot on the street and left it there all night, thankfully no problems

Overall, an amazing stay go for the wine and stay for the comfortable beds
Pros:

The best feature about this hotel was the free wine and the breakfast in the morning. It was just an excellent experience overall.

Cons:

The only thing I didn’t like is having to pay for parking and putting my car somewhere different

Will definitely stay again
Pros:

Stayed here because it was close to UCSF hospital, my sister had surgery and I was able to go back and forth easy. The room was clean and staff very friendly.
