Hotel Scaletta

This was a nice hotel very close to the city center. This came in handy after walking home from a concert at the colosseum. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was good (they will make you fresh eggs). If you have a car, they do have a parking lot available.

This is possibly the worst “hotel” stay I’ve ever had.

The room smelled like wet socks upon arrival. We noticed that there was mold all over the bathroom. This was also not the room pictured on our booking confirmation. Part of the headboard/baseboard was broken.

The bedsheets did not properly fit the bed, and we slept on the partially exposed mattress.

This is less of a hotel and more of a hostel. The front desk was left unattended all night, and we were not informed that we needed to check out the day prior to departure due to the early morning ferry - there was no one at the desk from 8:30pm-6:30am, and the lobby door was unlocked presumably all night. We paid an €85 deposit at booking and owe a remaining balance of nearly €200. The price tag is way too high here - you are better off booking a private room in a hostel when staying in Pula.

The shower worked, the toilet flushed, the included breakfast was decent, and the air conditioning worked well.

Svidilo mi se to što je hotel u samom centru grada i sve je blizu pogotovo Arena što nam je bilo bitno. I da dobra je vanjska izolacija u sobama.

Breakfast dissappointed

The hotel Scaletta in Pula was not how it appeared on any websites before arriving.
Unfortunately the standards at the hotel did not live up to what would be expected of any establishment with any star rating.
My expectation was a small hotel in easy reach of the old town, which it was but the reality was a uncared for hotel with a mouldy bathroom which obviously hadn't been attempted to be cleaned off, bedding, towels and a bathmat that were old and discoloured. A shower curtain that was useless and a general lack of attention to detail. The man who checked us in thought that this was what was to be expected of a 3 star hotel which left me in no doubt that we could not stay there

Ottima posizione, a pochi minuti dall'Arena e dalla città vecchia. Comodo parcheggio dell'Hotel e staff gentilissimo.
