SECRET BAY HOTEL

Vi blev overraskede, da vi ankom til hotellet, fordi det reseverede værelse ikke var til rådighed. Istedet blev vi tilbudt et andet til en noget højere pris (30% højere) og så var den aftensmad, som var inkluderet i vores oprindelig bestilling, ikke med i prisen. Vi erfarede, at andre på hotellet også havde haft problemer med deres reservation. Hvis vi en anden gang kom til Thalalla, vil vi klart vælge et andet hotel. Det var en fantastik flot strand.

In Talalla is niet veel te doen. Secret bay hotel ligt op een paar meter van het strand. Wij logerrden in de bungalow die in een mooie tuin stond. Het was een leuk, ruim maar basic huisje. Een beetje donker maar voorzien van de nodige meubels zoals kasten, tafel en stoelen en droogrek. Ook is er een leuke veranda met chill stoelen. De schoonmaak is niet echt goed. Vooral in de badkamer was het niet echt schoon (muren ed) We hebben 1 kakkerlak gehad. Bed was goed en netjes en met bloemen versierd. Met klamboe. Personeel is aardig. In het kleine rooftop restaurantje kun je prima eten.

Al met al hier een prima verblijf gehad al vond ik de prijs wel te hoog voor wat je ervoor kreeg.

Tallala beach great & stayed twice at this hotel. 1st time was in one of the cottage rooms & 2nd time in the main building. The 2nd room definitively the better one!

Nice little hotel if you're planning to stay a few days by the beach without breaking the bank. The room was pretty big and clean even though the bathroom was a bit grim. The included breakfast was great, staff was friendly, overall a nice place to stay.

We got a bungalow (lower standard than double room (DB) – bungalow had no hot water, no proper light in the bathroom, no water-pressure in the WC, basic room-equipment), instead of what we paid for - a DB! Expedia basically promised & charged us for a DB, but the facility simply denied to adhere to the contract. Expedia page showed 3 more rooms available, but the facility claimed there were none. We should approach them next morning at 11:30 am, as then one DB will become available. We were also promised a cheaper DB, as a ‘compensation’. This though turned out to be bullying/false-offer. Next day, at 11:30 am. were presented with another false story. We were told that the family who was supposed to check-out of the DB has neither paid, nor has extended their stay & now has suddenly disappeared. As their belongings are still in the room, we should wait a bit. We patiently waited–Until 7 pm!!!!! We inquired around 4-5 times about the status & were given the same answer. Late afternoon, we were even told that the facility will remove the belongings of the family out of the room & give us the room. But if we paid more, we could get another DB. Around 7 pm the ‘missing’ family returned & said they had already informed facility in the morning about extension of their stay & was approved. The worst part was, staff was not surprised to see the family arrive, neither complained about them “disappearing”. The facility was simply lying to us in the hope of getting more money.
