Great stay, but...
Pros:

The staff is very friendly although bad at english. They jump through hoops to grant you every wish or need you may have. Like driving to the shop for super glue. Really exceptional service. The hotel is also very clean, and has a beautiful garden. The breakfast was also amazing.
All in all we had a great stay.

Cons:

Some facilities listed like bathtub wasn't there. Also soundproof walls seems like a lie as there were litteral holes and cracks in the corners of the walls.
Lights in the pool was not attached to the walls of the pool. They were just floating around.
Comparing prices to other things in hikkaduwa, i do think the value for money is off with this hotel. Rating it as a 5 star hotel is clearly wrong. On google it is listed as a three star hotel.

Geweldig
Pros:

De staf en de kok die geweldig kan koken.ze deden er alles aan om je thuis tevoelen. Ik had de hotel sleutel per ongeluk mee genomen.en werd gebeld waar ik was. De manger zei blijf daar wachten en ik kom er aan. Wat een service. Oja de omgeving met vogels en apen en varanen geweldig

A peaceful, beautiful place with great service and a relaxing atmosphere highly recommended.
Pros:

The location was very calm and quiet, surrounded by beautiful greenery, which made the stay very relaxing. The pool was great, the room was comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Honestly, there wasn’t anything major to dislike. Everything was well managed and met our expectations. The stay was comfortable and enjoyable overall.

Lovely
Pros:

The hotel is beautifully located in quiet green surroundings. Away from the busy and touristy centre of Hikkaduwa this place felt like an oasis. The staff is super friendly and made us lots of delicious meals. Our little 2 year old daughter loved the pool and just walking around in the neighborhood. The hotel arranges a free tuktuk per day roundtrip to take you to the city. I would highly recommend this place if you want a genuine Sri Lankan experience

Cons:

The beds were a bit hard, but that is a personal preference

Pros:

We arrived at this little pearl, tucked away from the busy Hikkaduwa, not knowing what to expect — and what a wonderful surprise it was. A true hidden gem, warmly run by Harsha, Dilanthi, and Praveen. It’s not a luxury retreat, but a beautiful “less is more” experience surrounded by genuine nature. We will definitely be coming back.

Pros:

The room was so big and bed was comfortable. It’s very quiet and peaceful if that’s what you’re looking for.

Cons:

You need a tuk tuk to leave and come back each time and sometimes the driver can’t find the place. There aren’t many facilities such as restaurants, proper bar etc but the small pool is nice

Pros:

Beautiful rooms and the staff were lovely and friendly. The breakfast was great too.

Cons:

The location was too remote for us and transport into town/beach found it difficult to find. No bar or restaurant on site although advertised.

Pros:

Сняли этот отель на пару дней, но решили остаться тут до конца отпуска. Стильные номера, очень красивая территория. Прекрасный персонал. Не могу найти здесь минусов, хоть я и очень привередлива к отелям. Может кому то не понравится, что далеко от пляжа, но мне нравится это уединение и природа. Через PickMe вызываем тук тук , через 5 минут он тут, до пляжа минут 7 ехать. Но советуем прогуляться по местным улочкам пешком, по пути встретите местные ларьки, где цены не как для туристов)

Een heerlijk en aangenaam verblijf in de natuur
Pros:

We waren er twee nachten en we hebben een Engels ontbijt en ook een Sri Lankaans ontbijt gekozen. Vooral de laatste kan ik aan raden. Heel anders dan een boterhammetje, maar zeer smakelijk. Het zwembad was goed en schoon. De gastheer nam ook de tijd om nog eens langs de diverse planten en bomen te lopen en uitleg te geven. De rust als je dat kunt waarderen.

Cons:

De ligging is in een uiterst natuurlijke en bosrijke omgeving. De tuktuk drivers hadden nog wel eens moeite om de juiste weg te vinden, zelfs de mannen van PICKME met hun route beschrijving moesten nog wel een stukje terug. De kosten zijn 400 tot 500 roepie per keer, bijvoorbeeld vanaf het station van Hikkaduwa. Maar aan de ligging kan Garcinia Leaf niet zoveel doen.

A paridise in the jungle near Hikkaduwa
Pros:

The staff, they were incredible and couldn’t have done much more for our stay. The hotel was lovely and the rooms were fantastic as was the pool. The hotel is a bit far from Hikkaduwa, make sure you don’t pay more than 700LKR for a tuk tuk there and back.

Cons:

Maybe a slightly more of a range for breakfast, but we had was still delicious.

An outstanding hotel- high quality , friendly and a tranquil oasis, would love to stay again ,
Pros:

Garcinia Leaf was a gem. It is a beautiful hotel, set away from the busy main streets , instead it was an oasis nestled amongst beautiful trees and greenery, yet a short trip to the beach. The rooms were large and clean and the staff were friendly ,really helpful and responsive. The food at breakfast was utterly delicious and beautifully presented. The pool was gorgeous with a jacuzzi in one corner. All in all, a great stay

Lovely stay, wonderful team!
Pros:

We received a very warm welcome along with some fresh juice when we arrived. Our room was very comfortable, clean and well maintained, along with the fact that it got maintenance every day during our stay (while we were out and about).
Our hosts were always reachable and ready to help us with anything we asked. They even helped us rent a scooter at a very reasonable price. They go out of their way to make your stay comfortable and relaxed!

The location is wonderful and dreamy with nature all around and you come across little delights like the way they present the towels etc.
We were very happy with our stay and would love to come back one day!

Cons:

The wooden chairs near the pool were not in an optimal condition anymore
