バスタブが使えないホテル

良い点：部屋にアリがいなかった。

Cons:

検索条件で部屋にバスタブがあるホテルに限定して予約したのに、がっかりでした。
バスタブはたしかに部屋にあります。しかしお湯を溜めることができません。なぜなら栓がないからです。バスタブの中でシャワーを使用できるだけです。バスタブとしての機能を利用できません。まるで詐欺です。他の人のレビューで水圧やボイラーについて書かれているのを読みましたが、まさかの展開でした。
直接フロントまで行って面と向かって風呂の栓のことについて伝えようと思いました。フロントに到着しましたがチェックインしてくれた人はフロントにはいません。ふと後ろを見ると彼女はカフェで食事をしていました。
部屋に風呂の栓がないですよ、と彼女に伝えました。
すると彼女は口の中のものを飲み込んでから、すべての部屋で栓を置いていないんです、風呂の栓は月契約の部屋にのみ置いてあります。その他の部屋では客が自分で用意しなければなりません。自分で用意したら使えるよ、と奇妙な事を言いました。
ちょっと待ってください、風呂の栓を持ち歩く旅行者がどこにいるのでしょうか？私の知らない間に風呂の栓を持ち歩くことが一般的な世界になってしまったのでしょうか？普通の方々は旅行に風呂の栓を持って行かないと思うのは世界に私だけなのでしょうか。
ホテルの常識と私の常識がかけ離れているため、この時点で異常さに気付くべきでした。他の人のレビューをもっと良く読むべきだったのかもしれません。
食い下がらずに、どうして使えないの？どうするの？ないなら貸してよ、とすこしごねたら食事中だった彼女は面倒な客の対応が嫌になったのか、妥協案を提示しました。
"明日メイドに伝えます。今日はメイドが帰ってしまいました。だから明日になります。"
このときの時間は17:19でした。メイドは17時で帰ってしまうんでしょうね。だったらフロントであるあなたが対応するべきでしょう。もしくは他のスタッフに持っていくように伝えるとか。
彼女は絶対にメイドに伝えないだろうと思っていました。そしてその通りになりました。
結局、滞在している期間中はバスタブの中で体を洗うだけでした。
見た目が立派なホテルだけにとても残念な経験です。今回の経験を通じてホテルの評価が良くない理由を理解することができました。
あと、朝食は中国人客向けの内容です。私が朝食をとっている間に責任者と思われるボーダー柄のポロシャツを着た中年男性が食堂スタッフに対して”電気がついていない！”と大声で叱責していました。
