Beautiful weekend break
Pros:

Fantastic hotel, stayed with my son before doing the Manchester City tour. Rooms where very clean and comfortable. Staff were fantastic and very friendly. Arrived in time for the lunch menu, food was outstanding. Breakfast buffet had a good choice and was fantastic.

I can’t believe it’s only three star hotel! The staff of the furnishings on the food is of a very high standard.
Pros:

The efficient and friendly staff.
The big room with bottled water even in standard rooms.
The Sunday lunch was the best I’ve had in a long time.
There is no parking eye, sending you a fine for not typing your reg in properly.
Spotlessly clean everywhere.
Perfectly poached eggs at breakfast. So many places can’t poach eggs.

Cons:

The breakfast was massively let down by wafer thin cheap tasting bacon and cheap and chewy sausage.
Overcooked hard croissants really spoilt the breakfast especially since the evening meal was perfect.

Perfect stay 30 minutes from Manchester Centre
Pros:

We love this hotel , with its clean homely feeling , fabulous staff and close to great canal walks but also close enough to travel into the centre of Manchester. The onsite restaurant is a must to see and experience. Plus food and atmosphere at the hotel bar and restaurant are good too. Breakfast service is excellent .

Perfect place for a relaxing weekend just outside Manchester Centre
Pros:

Fabulous property close to the motorway network and 30 minutes from Manchester centre . Easy access to the Rochdale Canal for lovely walks , large Tesco nearby and its separate Italian restaurant is not to be missed for the fabulous environment and food. In addition the hotel bar and food are also excellent and breakfast service is exceptional. Friendly staff on top of this were would definitely stay again. This was our second stay and we used it to travel to a show in Manchester . Ample parking too.

Cons:

Nothing not to like but softer pillows would be a bonus for me

Pros:

Excellent breakfast and very friendly staff

Cons:

Better drinks option at breakfast - ie a drinks machine offering differing coffee. This is only a minor point to a good stay
