Very pleasant.
Pros:

Breakfast very good with vegetarian options. Location excellent.

Cons:

Blinds are needed in the bedroom both for privacy and to shut out the light, especially at this time of year. Lace curtains wont do. There is also a dreadful noise from the room next door from a motor( boiler or something similar) which woke me up and was constant. The wall needs to be soundproofed.

I needed a good rest, a replenishing meal and a good pint after a long drive of 350 miles. I got it.
Pros:

The staff were very welcoming from the moment I arrived, helpful too. The ambience in the bar was much friendlier than many places the evening meal was good value and breakfast was not only tasty but abundant. - and served with friendly attention. You even had in Bellhaven a very good beer - an old favourite.

Cons:

I enjoyed my stay - will hopefully return and pass the good word.

A pleasant stay.
Pros:

Lovely quiet location in this quaint town.

Cons:

We had been delayed on our ferry journey and rang ahead to advise the hotel, but we were advised last orders for the kitchen was 7.45pm. We ordered our meals over the phone and had a fast journey to Kirkcudbright! We were surprised there was no "leeway" for residents. (Food was very nice though!).
Twin room had a very small ensuite.

A great place to stay
Pros:

Great location and easy on street parking. Good size room bright comfortable and very clean. A lovely Scottish breakfast in a bright dinning room with fresh fruit, yogurts,cereal and juice. Nice pub, we joined in the pub quiz. All staff were chatty polite and worked hard.

Cons:

Shower was a little small. Limited hanging space for clothes

Welcoming atmosphere in the heart of a charming wee town.
Pros:

The location right in the centre of town is ideal. The room was clean and comfortable, and the food at both dinner and breakfast were excellent. More than anything else though was the friendliness of the staff. I can't remember being made so welcome in a hotel for a very long time.

Cons:

Nothing - it was all good!

Lovely and would definitely stay there again.
Pros:

Excellent location. Breakfast lovely. Also had a meal which was delicious and value for money. Room was lovely and loved the view over Kirkubright.

Cons:

Room was too hot but we didn’t realise radiator was on so when we came back at night we had to leave window open and noise of dog barking kept my husband awake. On the positive side it meant he got to watch Scotland game 😊

Lovely, friendly and clean
Pros:

The breakfast was excellent, including the haggis and black pudding (which I find are often dry). Keira was lovely checking us in and showing us to our room. The bed was very comfortable and everywhere was very clean, even the toilets belonging to the bar! The only drawback was there is no car park so you have to find on street parking

Cons:

On site parking would have been a bonus

brilliant location, clean and comfortable.
Pros:

brilliant location, quiet, comfy beds. very clean. really handy to have the bar and restaurant on site. good was good and very good portion sizes.

Cons:

the breakfast serving staff were rude / abrupt to a number of other guests and myself, it may have been unintentional but guests were essentially told off for various reasons by one member of staff.
