The hotel is in a very quiet and nice area. It has the restaurant/bar so that’s a plus, the food is really good there! The room was comfortable and clean. The staff were amazing, really helpful. He even provided a fan which he was using cause we told him that the room was a bit hot, we really appreciated that.
Nothing in particular
O restaurante serve boa comida. Funcionarios bastante prestaveis.
O quarto apesar de limpo a cama nao e confortavel, nao tem ar condicionado o que o torna muito quente tivemos de dormir com a janela aberta. Tem um exaustor que trabalha quase a noite toda o que nao se consegue dormir com o barulho.
Good location for Cateran trail.
Food was expensive. Had to pay to park outside.
Im Grunde waren wir rundum zufrieden trotz teilweise sehr starkem Hundegeruch im Flur und Servicebereich.

It was all good and staff
Price mabey
Location
Noisy boiler disrupting sleep
Lovely setting and was perfect for our impromptu stop over, the gluten free options for the mrs was also a huge win
There was nothing we disliked
Everything was of superb quality and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely come again and recommend to others. Excellent hotel, bar and restaurant.
Krásné ubytování. Milí lidé a úžasná snídaně
Very comfortable traditional small hotel. Excellent breakfast and dinner. Very helpful and friendly staff.
The staff are efficient and very friendly and helpful. Our shower head didn't work and was fixed immediately.
The garden and woods behind the hotel are lovely, and the Cataran Trail runs up the side of the hotel into some beautiful scenery.
We asked for a quiet room at the back of the hotel and we wanted a walk-in shower. The hotel has 17 rooms and only ONE has a walk-in shower. (Room #3) It is at the front of the hotel facing the bins and the curve of the road. So it wasn't quiet, and the curtains were too thin the keep the daylight out at 4.00 AM. The mattress was old and had two dips from long-term use.
Breakfast is a la carte and there are lots of choices, but with two waitresses they can only manage a 3 or 4 tables at a time and you have to book a time or be prepared to wait.
Quiet, comfortable room. Very clean.
Good location & excellent food.!
Nothing to dislike!
Location, comfort and dinner was good value for money and the best Cranachan I've ever had.
Paying £5 for parking at an isolated country pub (where else was one to park) if I'd known before hand I wouldn't have booked...also the noisy water heating/plumbing needs looked at as it was pretty noisy in our room not nice late evening/early morning.
Room clean and adequate and staff very pleasant.
Breakfast very expensive, so we ate at a cafe. No lounge. Bar tiny. Bar closed very early for residents.
The room was great, clean and tidy and had plenty of space.
Bar has a great choice of beers and wines to choose from aswell as bar meal.
Loved the place been out in the middle of nowhere, nice and quiet.
The car park, it's gravel....it's fine if your in a car or van, but i was on a motorbike and that was not easy moving it around.
It's a little gem. And the walk along the river was a beautiful surprise.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Dog friendly hotel also in bar and dog friendly restaurant
