Overall nice experience
Pros:

The view is exceptional, the room layout is pleasant. Generous space

Cons:

The light switching (Guest Room Management) is a nightmare. Worst of its kind. The open shower layout is nice, but if your partner wakes up at nice to wash his hands the lights goes on automatically which is very annoying

Would never stay at The View again and cannot recommend it

When paying CHF 1,000 (US$ 1,200) for a room one expects good service, good food from their Michelin kitchen and a good room. We were disappointed on all of these. My meal was so bad I had one bite and left the rest in the plate. The meat was like shoe leather and had no garnishing. The sever was so bad that we never saw him after he served the food until he picked up the plate and then he made no mention of the uneaten meal. Return to our room the air conditioning that was controlled from the reception desk - the thermostat in the room does not control the a/c - had not been fixed. They did offer us another room but at 9pm it was not convenient to pack up and move rooms at 9pm.

The air conditioning didn't really work anywhere in the hotel. The hallways were probably 30 degrees Celsius and our room was 26 degrees. As there are no windows that can be opened to cool it is a problem that is unacceptable
