Had everything we needed and central location.
Pros:

None, but plenty local cafe. It would be great to have a breakfast option at the hotel in the future as it had a nice big room and would be used for cooked breakfast or cold breakfast for people needing to leave early in morning before 9am

It was very much as I expected from prior information
Pros:

The room was clean and efficient. Everything worked. TV good. Plenty of hot water

Cons:

Room was very small. I would have preferred a shower (don't think I've had a bath for at least 2 decades!)

Cheap and very basic hotel with no service or facilities but the beds were clean & comfortable
Pros:

Good location. Bedding and towels clean.

Cons:

Single glazed windows let in a lot of noise from the road outside. Internal doors banged loudly through the night. Footfall on stairs was noisy. A used cotton bud lay on the stairs throughout my stay.

Comfy to sleep at, but some basics need looking at
Pros:

Comfy beds, with free site parking.

Cons:

Shower was cold without much pressure, couldn’t open the door fully because they’d crammed a double bed in a tiny room.

Likewise the bathroom required standing in the shower to shut the door
