Cons:

We did not actually stay. We made the reservation in error a month in advance. Realizing our error, we tried to cancel 3 weeks before the reservation and they declined to cancel or refund our money. It was disgraceful and would never stay anywhere that refuses to cancel a reservation

Great room, friendly staff and lovely waffles.
Pros:

I tried the waffle maker in the breakfast room as being from the uk this isn’t normally an option. Wow they’re great. My new favourite thing to eat for breakfast. 🧇

Nothing I didn’t like.

A great location for a cooler place and shopping place are near by,Walmart.
Pros:

Staff was good and the newly renovated hotel was great.

Cons:

Beds was too firm and there was no more chili stew.

Tragic employee training
Pros:

Weather made the stay complex--2 different registrations due to regional flooding changing my plans.

Cons:

Robot employee forcing me out of my room for 6 hours to re-register for the same room <"it needs to be cleaned by housekeeping">
Sound idiotic? I preaid so was forced to comply with a management tool set from 1850. Sadly, the clerk saw no flaw in this madness, a sign of corporate training by non-hotel trainers. My first hint that Hampden inns were fading out

Overall, best hotel we stay in during our week long trip across the country.
Pros:

Nice rooms. Comfortable bed and pillows. Room temp was great. Happy to have purchased stamps and let us mail out postcards. Good breakfast.

Cons:

Good breakfast but needs non dairy and a hot vegan protein options for travelers than have dietary issues.

This will be the only place I stay in Cortez going forward. Overall it is the most pricey I would say, but worth every p
Pros:

Everything was super clean, staff was friendly, everything was well stocked at breakfast.

Cons:

People above us were extremely loud, so much to the point it woke me in the middle of the night. I did like that there was an office number to message; I sent them a message regarding the stomping & screaming and they sent someone up to check it out.

Everything was exactly as it should be for an enjoyable stay.
Pros:

Everything about the facility was excellent, the arrival greeting, the room cleanness, the breakfast. The only problem was the TV - I could not find the sports I wanted, no big deal bit figuring out the TV controls was a bit confusing. All in all it was excellent and we will definitely stay again when we pass this way.

Great stop, great location!
Pros:

The breakfast was excellent, the attendants on staff were very friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and updated (lots of plugs for charging etc)

Cons:

Not a fan of the barn door style bathroom doors.
