Likes the remodel of the hotel and the bar/restaurant, good to see old buildings re-purposed.

Should be a treasure; would require total repainting and redecorating to reach its potential.
Pros:

Wonderful and helpful staff--one could not ask for more in that department.
Lovely old rooms which constitute the restaurant/pub, with amazing wood and decor. Unfortunately, the decor choices in the hotel itself are awful. The doors and trim are a dreadful dead brown and the walls a namby-pamby eggshell. This hotel was a fancy brothel, and its current decor just denatures and makes it BO-RING. Shower worked well; room was reasonably quiet.

Cons:

Decor upstairs; very small and extremely primitive 'fitness center'; no microwave; no green tea available anywhere; breakfast quite basic as well. The best rooms in the place are in the restaurant/pub, which we'd have had to pay to see or experience other than at breakfast (!?!?!?!??!!). Need more end tables beside beds.

Art everywhere!
Pros:

Beautifully refurbished old building which doubles as an art gallery! Be sure to walk through all the hallways to see all the art. There was even a cool painting for sale in my room. The location was very convenient for walking around downtown. Room was small but clean and newly remodeled, very nice bathroom. The breakfast was in attached restaurant and was very good. No pool or hot tub or any of that, but who needs that anyway. Plenty of parking including indoor and secured.

Great location for going to rodeo. Lovely part of town

No natural light in our room. No window at all. Didn’t mention it on the website though they thought it did (agreed later it didn’t)

Great place to stay
Pros:

Very clean & very comfortable. The covered parking was a plus. Because of it being a historic building it had its own uniqueness. Was not an overly busy & noisy part of town. Loved the Celtic Cowboy Pub attached. Would definitely stay there again.

Cons:

The layout of the room was a little tight but not a big deal at all.
