Baan Bandalay Hotel

We stayed 2 weeks in this lovely hotel with 2 young children. We had a fantastic stay, in a family room on the second floor so we had a lovely view, especially at sunset. The staff were super friendly and helpful and great with the kids. The hotel itself was in a good location slightly set back from the main roads so nice and quiet and only a 10 minutes walk from both Aonang and Nopparat beaches. We were also only a short walk from The Hilltop restaurant with lovely food and great views. Although there is no pool at the hotel, you are able to walk to the hotel opposite Chada Thai Village hotel and use their facilities for the day for a small fee. The food at Baan Bandalay was amazing, I would recommend the chocolate Acai bowl, we would definitely recommend this hotel.

This is a very clean hotel for a good price. It has a restaurant built in with lots of food options. Would stay here again.

Very clean, large rooms and bathrooms. Very friendly staff. A little bit away from the main street in Ao Nang, but easily walkable, and it's quieter because it's a little away. Bed was quite firm, but that seems to be a Thailand thing.

Wonderful and beautiful hotel with a nice touch. Wonderful breakfast and amazing pizza. Staff just superb.

Po sąsiedzku masaże- chyba jedne z lepszych w okolicy.Można zamówić transport z i na lotnisko, tuk tuki - bez problemu.Bardzo miła obsługa. Restauracja bez zarzutu . Czysto i smacznie.Zmiana ręczników, woda w lodówce co dziennie.Jedynie przydałby się czajnik w pokoju.Jeżeli nie zależy ci na basenie w hotelu to warto tu zamieszkać byliśmy w lutym- i było super

Good location near Nopparat Beach. Nice staff.

We liked the warmth and friendliness of the staff. We are familiar with pleasant service in Thailand, but this was at another level. The room was lovely and the breakfast was superb. It's location really suited us. We recommend it!

Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff. All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice.

Hotellin aula miellyttävä ja vastaanotto oli lämmin. Tämän jälkeen huone oli hieman pettymys. Huoneessa haisi, ilmeisesti parvekkeella oli tupakoitu ja vessassa oli kostean tunkkainen haju. Huoneessa oli tehty joitakin paikkauksia, mutta ne olivat jääneet ikävän näköisesti kesken.
Hintalaatusuhde kohtalainen. Sänky oli miellyttävä ja aamiainen sekä palvelu hyvää.

Noe slitt enkelte steder, men rent og pent over alt, og gode på alt av service!
Hotellet ligger med restaurant i front. Restauranten hadde nydelig mat. Ett av de beste stedene vi spiste på.
Prisen på mat og oppholdet var veldig bra.
Litt harde senger, men det vil du oppleve uansett hvor du er her nede.
Helt grei avstand ned til stranda eller hovedgata.

Hotel che ho visitato per la seconda volta.
Posto molto tranquillo e pulito e con personale cortese e collaborativo.Annesso c'è il ristorante Café de mar che propone una ottima cucina Thai e Italiana.
Lo consiglio e ci ritornerò sicuramente.

Room was spacious. Lack of kettle, soap and toothpaste.

Had a great stay here. Good value for money. Staff are very friendly. Food in the restaurant was good as was the massage next door (includes a discount for staying here).

I would stay again.

スタッフの方々は親切で笑顔で対応していただき良かったですが、部屋の清掃が行き届いていませんでした。
イスがほこりだらけでした。
その他、ベッドやバスルーム等は問題ありませんでした。
ホテルの入り口がレストランになっていて、よく見ると看板がありますが、若干わかりずらいです。ホテルの周りにはあまりお店はたくさんありませんが、アオナンビーチまで徒歩10～15分くらいで、少し歩けばお店がたくさんあります。

They don’t help us to remove those hair inside toilet even when we request for room cleaning service. Please improve on this.

La habitación estaba muy bien: amplia, cama grande, colchón duro y lugar para guardar ropa. El único inconveniente es que el baño estaba sin terminar de alicatar!! Los azulejos llegaban a la mitad de la pared y claramente no era el diseño del baño. No cominos ni desayunamos en el restaurante del hotel, así que no tengo información de la comida. Llegamos un poco antes de la hora del check-in y nos dieron la habitación

Good staf

First of all hat tip to the housekeeping staff - they always waited for the guests to leave the room. We wouldn't even know they were there if there weren't always two bottles of mineral water, towels and a made bed waiting for us after the whole day. The rooms are spacious and tidy albeit a tad dated. The food in the restaurant deserves a chance - it's nice to eat from porcelain after a whole week of street food and it's really good. The rest of the hotel staff are very helpful and never forget to greet you with a smile. If you plan on staying a bit longer or have already been backpacking - do yourself the favor of using the hotel laundry service. It costs little over a dollar or one euro for two lbs./1kg of laundry that gets properly washed and folded and smells of fresh detergent. Add 50 cents to have it ironed. It's located near a good food market where you can get stuffed with Thai specialties for very little money. There's also a scooter rental place - travel to the Dragons Cave and other attraction with it, it's a great way to spend a day or two and costs around 5 euros/6 dollars a day plus some fuel (negligible cost).
