Pros:

Nice big yard for the dog and very dog friendly. Comfy bedding. Location ok although a longer walk to the pyramids’ gate than google suggests. Good parking.

Cons:

Hosts not friendly - felt like I was imposing by staying there. Room not cleaned by approved check in time. No heating in room, and there was frost on my car in the morning. No hand soap or shampoo in the bathroom. Everything closed: restaurant, shop, temazcal. The whole place felt like the owners wanted to be on vacation that day and were opening begrudgingly.

My stay at Hotel y Temazcal I Teotihuacan was nothing short of extraordinary! From the moment I arrived, the warm and welcoming hospitality of the host, Jose, set the tone for an unforgettable experience.

The property is beautifully maintained, with a peaceful atmosphere that perfectly complements the rich history of the surrounding area. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and tastefully decorated—every detail designed to make guests feel at home.

The in-house temazcal experience is a must-try! It’s a unique cultural and therapeutic ritual that added so much depth to my visit.

The location is ideal, just a short distance from the Teotihuacan pyramids. Plus, the local food scene nearby is phenomenal. The tacos, sopas, and other delights within walking distance are an absolute treat!

I can’t recommend this hotel enough. If you’re visiting Teotihuacan, staying here is an experience in itself—Jose and his team truly make it special. Thank you for such a memorable stay!

There was nothing to dislike—everything was absolutely perfect! From the warm hospitality to the beautiful surroundings, every detail exceeded my expectations. Truly an incredible experience!
