Exceptional Apartment
Pros:

The location, we never walked more than 15 minutes to anywhere.

The facilities, even the pass code to the building and apartment was customised for you to remember.

The reception staff were brilliant, YES staff ! They were friendly and helpful such as leaving your luggage after you checked out.

Despite the old architecture on the outside, the inside was very modern, with contemporary decor and a lift to help with your luggage. I've trudged up the stairs to the top floor in other old buildings with heavy bags and it's no fun. No problem here though.

From our (very) Spacious and well equipped apartment we had a grand view over the rooftops to the Firth of Forth. (The bus stop to Leith is only 100 mts away) I say fully equipped, you could live here a month and you would have all the facilities right down to a washer dryer!
On day one there was a small issue in the bathroom but one word to reception and it was sorted whilst we were out. That's service.

Having stayed in several apartments in Edinburgh I can categorically state that this was a cut above the rest.
Hopefully it's available next time we visit.

Cons:

There was nothing not to like on our visit. I'm probably going to be outpriced on our next visit though.

Cons:

Voor het inchecken en na het uitchecken wilden we onze baggage nog even achterlaten maar het was wat lastig om in contact te komen met het personeel en je kon ook niet op een willekeurige tijd langskomen want er is niet altijd iemand daar.

Very enjoyable with excellent accommodation
Pros:

Situated in the cntre of Edinburgh within easy walking distance of the castle and other attractions. Tea and coffee provided with complimentary pint of milk when we arrived. Accommodation was warm and comfortable. Good value for money.
