Good stay on Flores and within walking distance of picking up tours to Tikal!
Pros:

Casa Amelia was in good walking distance of shops, the community center (watched kids play basketball in the evenings after dinner) and the bakery for early morning coffee. Dinners were great at the restaurant overlooking the water and the food and drinks were good.

Cons:

Very noisy in the evenings and mornings with loud motorcycle traffic and boats touring the water nearby with loud parties and even louder music when we needed to get some rest before early departure to our next destination.

Great little waterfront hotel
Pros:

Great little hotel! Currently a waterfront property because of the high level of the lake. Nice room with a lake view from big window, comfy bed, hot shower, a/c if you need it, considerate staff, good breakfast, rooftop terrace, and shuttle (in an oversized golf cart!) to and from the airport. Totally great for our 3 days in Flores. Highly recommended.

Cons:

Next time we would ask for a lake view room on the 2nd floor. Our room on the 1st floor felt a little exposed to the people on the street in front but it really wasn’t a problem.

Buenisimo hotel
Pros:

Excelente vista, habitacion y camas, tiene un buenisimo restaurante donde cenamos varias noches, recomendado

Cons:

el unico problema fue el shampoo, recomiendo llevar uno propio
