Mycket trevligt och vackert, kommer sakna personalen 🪷🍃
Pros:

Väldigt vackert och smakfullt inrett. Personalen var fantastiskt vänlig och mysig. Mysig atmosfär med vackra blommor och fiskarna i dammen. Poolen låg vackert mot berget och jag var där vid fullmånen som lös genom bladverket av de ståtliga träden mot en i vattnet.

Att det låg för nära vägen, att det röktes mycket vid baren

Das Baan Ton Rak ist eine klare Empfehlung. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder.
Pros:

Man kommt an und wird herzlich mit einem Lächeln empfangen. Der Betreiber und die ganze Crew sind absolut tiefenentspannt und immer zur Stelle, wenn man Fragen hat oder Tipps für die Insel benötigt. Das Hotel hat einen sehr schönen tempelartigen Style und Maarten der Betreiber hat den Pool und die Bar frisch renoviert. Hier wird sich viel Mühe gegeben um dem Gast einen unvergesslichen Aufenthalt zu bereiten.

Cons:

Die Zimmer zur Straße sind etwas hellhörig, was aber nicht wirklich stört. Wenn man einen sehr leichten Schlaf hat, sollte man eins der innenliegenden Zimmer nehmen.

Perfect place for chill holidays with caring personal and welcoming owner
Pros:

It was a wonderful stay, everything was perfect for me and my wife: surroundings, location, room and area design, comfortable beds, a lot of space in rooms for a modest price, very tasty food, free coffee every morning (very tasty).
Also we liked the big pool with a bar counter right next to it so you can sit and sip some whiskey without leaving the pool, it was nice!

The owner of the hotel, was super nice, the rest of the stuff was also very nice and caring
Hotel owner took us and other guests to bars and restaurants several times, made a BBQ party for us at the beach nearby the hotel, the atmosphere was so cozy and warming

Also here you can rent a bike from the hotel, order transfer from and to the airport, and stuff will help you to order nice trips around the island.

Also there is a coffee shop at hotel’s territory where you can truly relax and have a good time, pretty convenient!

Definitely returning next time, highly recommend this place!

Sehr nette Leute hier, super sauber und sehr komfortabel eingerichtet. Lage ist sehr gut, alles was man braucht in nächster Nähe. Wunderschönes kleines Pool mit Bar! Alles hat super funktioniert! Würden gerne wieder kommen.

Für ein paar Tage super :)
Pros:

-Zimmer sind sehr sauber und wurden auch jeden Tag gereinigt
- es gab jeden Tag frische Handtücher für den Beach
- Personal sehr freundlich
- Roller konnte man sich in der Unterkunft ausleihen

Cons:

- leider etwas weit weg
- Hotel ist an der Hauptstraße und deshalb eher laut in der Nacht konnte man aber trotzdem gut schlafen

Rundum toll, absolute Empfehlung!
Pros:

Wir haben 13 Tage in dieser wundervollen Unterkunft verbracht und uns vom ersten Moment an wie zu Hause gefühlt!
Die Zimmer sind wunderschön mit Bambus gestaltet, sehr sauber und gemütlich und vor allem ausreichend Platz.
Was den Aufenthalt aber besonders macht, ist die herzliche und familiäre Atmosphäre, die man heute nur noch selten findet.

Ein großes Dankeschön an Sin und Maarten, die das mit so viel Herz und Engagement führen.
Wir kommen definitiv wieder! :)

Nur 7 Zimmer. Dadurch sehr gemütlich und familiär.

Für uns kein minus, aber man braucht einen Roller
Tagsüber hört man die Straße vorm Hotel. Zum Schlafen aber kein Problem

Pros:

The decor/ambiance was unparalleled, from the statuary to the koi pond, the garden like setting was absolutely idyllic.
The owner, Maarten, along with the staff, were so helpful, warm, and welcoming. I felt like I was returning rather than visiting for the first time.

Cons:

They have unfortunately been struck by a settling issue beneath the central common area pagoda, the perils of the island geology, no doubt. They assured me they needed only wait for low season to effect repairs that would necessitate a fortnights closure.
This is really not a complaint, as the sagging situation amid the beautiful setting lent an "ancient temple" vibe that was rather charming.

Pros:

A very, very pleasant stay in a really beautiful place filled with art, nice hang out spaces and nice kitchen facilities. Room stocked well with food and beverage items which was helpful on a short visit. Had very friendly and helpful staff. Provided substantial, instantaneous assistance including motorbike, arranged snorkeling trip, transportation to Chanthaburi and returned item left behind by mail. Outstanding services and lovely place.
